A typical country-style pub with a beer garden for sun-soaked dining, The Horseshoes @ East Farleigh serves a menu of uncomplicated but tasty modern British fare. A rustic retreat with low ceiling beams, exposed brick walls & fireplaces, the pub often hosts live local jazz music.

Sourcing ingredients from trusted local suppliers, The Horseshoes menu features wholesome recipes based around the garden, land and sea. Sample hand-pressed burgers, beef & ale pie with cardamom carrots, or sea bass with potato gnocchi, while old-school puddings include warming crumbles, custard-lathered sponges and decadent brownies. Not forgetting younger diners, a kids’ menu includes miniature versions of British classics.

A partnership with the celebrated Rothschild wine merchants means The Horseshoes @ East Farleigh cellar is stocked full with an eclectic list of world wines, while indulgent wine flights allow guests to sample a variety of bins. Seasonal beers and barrel-kept ales also feature, as well as thirst-quenching cocktails and rich coffees.

The Horseshoes in Maidstone is a 5-minute drive from East Farleigh Rail Station.

Lovely friendly staff, roast dinners were amazing. Service cab sometimes be slow to take your orders but think that's because it's so popular and busy

From our arrival we were impressed, very pleasant staff welcomed us and asked if wanted to stay in the lounge area or be taken to our table.

We were shown to our table and asked if this was ok, our drinks order was taken and we were given time to study the menu, boy we needed every minute, so many wonderful meals to choose from.

Starters, the 'mens' scallops were lovely whilst the 'girls' were saving space for their deserts!

With plenty to choose from, all the mains were great.

Couldn't ignore the chocolate bomb, fantastic.

Lovely lunch with attentive service, despite them having a number of Xmas parties in at the same time. Food is always good, good range from 'pub' standards to the more exotic.

Excellent food with good service. Unfortunately cursed with background music although, as the sole diners, we were able to get it turned right down.
