Following the success of his Edinburgh restaurant of the same name, Michelin-starred Martin Wishart brings The Honours to Glasgow. Housed in a former Greek Orthodox Church in the centre of Glasgow, Wishart has created a menu that blends traditional and modern French cuisine.

Billed as brasserie-style fine dining, The Honours is a superb award-winning restaurant serving breathtaking dishes that taste as good as they look. Vibrant, modern and sophisticated, the adjoining Chez Mal boasts a superb ambience and is perfect for an apéritif or relaxed evening with friends. Fine Champagnes are available, as well as single malt whiskies and exciting cocktails from Malmaison's renowned 'Malchemy' list.

Housed in the Malmaison Hotel, The Honours in Glasgow offers a fine and authentic French dining experience in the heart of the city. Both Charing Cross (Glasgow) Rail Station and Glasgow Film Theatre are 5 minutes’ walk away.

This was booked for my daughter's 21st birthday meal. We were all disappointed with the overall ambiance of the restaurant. The staff were attentive and polite. The food very good. However the background music was intrusive, too noisy, staff scuttling about, noisy group of female diners, just not the fine dining experience we were expecting. Delay in drinks arriving, had to ask again.

Nice food but very slow service. If you're having lunch from the prix fixe menu you'd expect that you'd be served faster . We were also the only people having lunch there so there was a bit of a lack of good atmosphere.

Welcomed at hotel entrance and taken to The Honours. Staff polite, courteous and attentitive. Lovely presentation, variety and taste of food. Offered water with fresh lemon in addition to our tea.
To improve they could explain what each food item was.
Also was dearer than anticipated at £25 per head with no fizz or alcohol

Firstly the booking wasn't on the system, so we had to wait till they prepared the afternoon tea, which wasn't too long a wait. But as it was hurried the scones weren't fully baked inside, some doughy bits. The vegetarian sandwich selection wasn't great, blue cheese is an acquired taste so not the best choice to include in an afternoon tea. Wouldn't go back, disappointed, would of thought the Malmaison would of been better

The decor is tasteful and very comfortable. The food was good but not amazing.
The service was inconsistent it took them ages to take an order and I had to ask for a wine list. At 8 pm on a Saturday night it was quite empty and lacking in atmosphere although one table of 6 near us were swearing constantly and loudly.
I think we were probably expecting too much because of the Martin Wishart name but we were disappointed.
It was my birthday and we had made them aware of that in the booking but nobody acknowledged it at all.

Lovely food and knowledgable staff. The chateaubriand steak was perfect. Pumpkin risotto so and so. Sweets delicious.

We visited the Honours for the second time with 2 other couples on Saturday. The food was superb (we shared chateubriand and others had the crab starter which was a real hit) as was the service and we would particularly like to recommend Stefan (the Restaurant Manager) who comes highly recommended from other reputable establishments. We will be back. Thank you for a lovely evening where nothing was too much trouble.
