Food was good, only worry was that the queues at the bar were at least 20 people as only one poor man serving. He was doing his upmost to keep up. We left early because of this. People were ordering food so each one took ages.

We booked for four people, on recommendation from our daughter we were so impressed our booking was confirmed by e-mail and text. When we arrived we were greeted cheerfully and seated comfortably in very pleasant surroundings, We were giving menus and asked if we would like drinks, and were left to choose our meals.
The staff were wonderful, we were not waiting long for our meals all excellent, As was our desserts We had a wonderful experience and we will be back and certainly recommend The Honey Bee without hesitation.

Our group of six visited on Tuesday 28 March at 8.00pm. The person who seemed in charge was called ‘Zak’. He said someone would come and take our drink orders. She didn’t, so after waiting for ten minutes we got Zak to take the order. He then took the food orders. A friend asked for a rump steak - but it was out of stock. Zak could have retrieved the situation by offering a sirloin steak at the same price as the rump – but he didn’t. A lost opportunity then? The starters were fine. Some of the main courses were poor. My order of chicken with vegetables was served on a plate that was stone cold. The vegetables were also cold. A friend who had the same choice also had a cold plate and vegetables. The waiter offered to take it back but I declined due to the time taken waiting for the meal. My friend who had ordered the sirloin steak had to send it back as it was ‘rare’ and not as he had ordered it. – ‘well done’. My wife’s sea bass was very good. The hunter’s chicken dish was ‘adequate’. The desserts were good We may now choose another Vintage Inn when we go out again – or not. We have not been since 2016 and things seem to have gone a bit downhill since then.
In addition, the doorway to the kitchen had 'IN' on it but it seemed to be the only door, so it was an OUT door as well! You might want to risk assess this as there were a few collisions while we were there, seated quite close to the door.
As a coda - [Google it] one of your e-mails asking for feedback didn't work.

After dining here on many previous occasions we decided to take my boyfriends mum for an early Mother's Day meal. We we so disappointed the service was horrendous we wait 45 minutes for our starters and then another 45 minutes for our main course. We we got the food it was actually good but the waiting was the worse thing about it. Definitely won't be going back in a hurry.

Normally this is a decent pub restaurant, which I generally l like, however service can occasionally be a bit patchy. Went for Sunday Lunch and booked for 7.30pm. Staff didn't know what food was available and we had to change our starter and main course on 2 occasions as they had run out of certain items on the menu. Starter and main courses were significantly overdone and the Yorkshire Pudding in particular almost crumbled into ashes upon contact. Presumably it had been under a heater lamp for an extended period. Seems like I made a big mistake ordering a Sunday lunch at this time of the day.

The meal was fine and each of us seemed to enjoy our chosen dishes. (On arrival there was debris around and under the table - half term clutter of crayons, paper and chips - but it was soon cleared). The service was timely and good.
We would also recommend the Sunday lunches which we have enjoyed several times. (Only once was mid-week lunch disappointing when the salad was very unimaginative)
