A modern twist on the traditional country cottage setting, The Home Cottage offers seasonal dishes in a contemporary gastro-pub setting. Alongside a trusty British menu and crowd-pleasing drinks, there’s a large terraced al fresco area and a spacious farmhouse interior.

Dining at the Home Cottage in Redhill offers refined interpretations of traditional pub classics, such as grilled venison haunch steak with wilted spinach, sweet potato chips and red wine jus, and sautéed chicken with truffle mash and a smoked bacon and cream sauce. The dining area is a quirky rustic space, with chunky wooden tables and faded leather loungers.

Outside this country pub, a raised terrace area houses large dining tables, where food can be enjoyed with a glass of wine from The Home Cottage’s carefully constructed wine list, or an award-winning Young’s ale. There are also locally-brewed ales on tap, from microbreweries in the Redhill area.

The Home Cottage is a 3-minute walk from Redhill Station, and not too far from the M25.

Our lunch was booked for mid-day and it was quite quiet, only 2 other tables were seated in the whole in & out door restaurant. But it was lovely. We sat outside in the large garden. Good was good. A nice time had by all.

All good. Attentive waitress/server. Good food ..... Menu would benefit for a few more choice of items. Price seems to be at the top end compared to other local similar of pub food.
I have been on two occasions now, but was a regular before the refit many years ago the environment of the restaurant could do with some sound dampening.

Very good food and friendly service. Good choice on the menu and everything was freshly cooked. Would definitely go again and recommend it. I would like a few more sourcing details on the menu e. g was the chicken free range. Good choice of vegetarian options.

Very easy to book. A lovely atmosphere and friendly wait staff. Myself and my family had a lovely meal (I can recommend the veggie burger!) & my daughter (8 months old) was provided with a high chair & enjoyed being fussed over. Fast service & tasty food.
