Gullwing Bistro hovers over the exhilarating tracks at Mercedes Benz World. Showcasing seasonal British produce, lunch can be enjoyed trackside from the terrace or in the sleek terrace.

The Gullwing Bistro menu is made up of simple but flavour-packed classics. Try the house burger with mature Cheddar, smoked bacon, Portobello mushroom, tomato chutney and hand-cut chips, or the hearty beer-battered fish and chips with homemade mushy peas. Other options include fresh pizzas, pumpkin ravioli with parmesan shavings and fish cakes with poached egg and hollandaise. For a lighter bite try the warm duck salad or share the charcuterie board.

Desserts at Gullwing Bistro Brooklands include the irresistible chocolate brownie with honeycomb ice cream and caramel sauce, and baked orange and Cointreau cheesecake with stem ginger ice cream. A selection of wines, beers and ciders is also on hand to complement your dining experience.

Lovely experience at the Gullwing Bistro, would definitely recommend and would definitely return. Super food, fresh, relaxed easy menu for a lunch or early tea. Something on the menu for all ages and tastes for a simple fresh quick lunch.
Super service, we sat outside on the balcony watching the Mercedes Silver Arrows in the sun drinking chilled wine and eating fresh salads and hot pizza enjoying the view and service.
We were awkward customers, as the only table left was in the shade and we asked if we could move the table and the rest of the furniture into the sun, I know this was a pain to do, all the staff were busy, the tables were all full and there was us asking to move the furniture, the manager was superb, he understood, didnt make an issue of it, He made the effort to sort the table for us, super quick, no fuss, went beyond our expectations, was just lovely, smiled, efficient, made us feel really valued and played down our request as not a problem ! Reasonably priced and exceeded our expectations well done!

I was glad my booking went well and we had the table in the window that I had requested. Our lunch went beautifully as I knew it would as I have been there quite a number of times in the past.

Overall the food was fine, not great.
    The main points were,
Feeling hurried, it was made clear to us that the kitchen wanted to stop serving by 2.45pm
Three of us had burgers, all the trimmings and the chunky chips were lovely but the actual burgers were overcooked & poor quality.
    Service was polite but slow.

Warm welcome, great table location with view of the track. Possible drawback, if you are in a hurry use the coffee shop downstairs as the service was slow but the food was excellent!

I had booked a table as we had come for the day, for my Dad's 50th birthday. The restaurant had a nice view of the track but that was the only good thing really. There was hair in the food, the portions were as we had hoped and the food choice was poor. I wasn't impressed by the service or quality of food.

Good location, good booking process, pleasant staff. 45 minutes for starters to arrive, one forgotten, one not available. Asked if the missing one was imminent, or if mains were imminent then not to bother with it. All mains arrived, plus missing starter. Food okay, except risotto that was bland, bitter and over cooked to sludge. Drink orders forgotten, beer glasses had ice in them. Bill had unavailable starter on it, was removed at request. Felt like the manager was on holiday and the head chef was ill.

I pre booked online for lunch and went with my two daughters. We were welcomed by the bistro manager, Laura, and shown to our table which overlooked the track and skid training area. (I had requested a window seat if possible, when I booked) The menu choice was good and the three of us chose different meals: Homemade Fishcakes, Spinach and Ricotta Tortellini, Warm Crispy Crumbed Chicken Breast Salad. Also, to share, Sweet Potato Chips with Aioli dip. While the meals were being prepared we had an excellent view of the activities on the track and skid area. The meals were brought to the table by Laura and waitress Stacey, both of whom were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. My daughters and I all described our meals as absolutely delicious - and they really were. The quality, quantity, taste and presentation were second to none, and the added bonus of the relaxed atmosphere, the great attitude and efficient attention by the manager Laura and waitress Stacey made it a perfect experience.
I cannot recommend the Gullwing Bistro highly enough and definitely look forward to returning.
