Gullwing Bistro hovers over the exhilarating tracks at Mercedes Benz World. Showcasing seasonal British produce, lunch can be enjoyed trackside from the terrace or in the sleek terrace.

The Gullwing Bistro menu is made up of simple but flavour-packed classics. Try the house burger with mature Cheddar, smoked bacon, Portobello mushroom, tomato chutney and hand-cut chips, or the hearty beer-battered fish and chips with homemade mushy peas. Other options include fresh pizzas, pumpkin ravioli with parmesan shavings and fish cakes with poached egg and hollandaise. For a lighter bite try the warm duck salad or share the charcuterie board.

Desserts at Gullwing Bistro Brooklands include the irresistible chocolate brownie with honeycomb ice cream and caramel sauce, and baked orange and Cointreau cheesecake with stem ginger ice cream. A selection of wines, beers and ciders is also on hand to complement your dining experience.

food superb, service excellent and with a view over the racecourse what more could we ask? Thoroughly enjoyable.

I have to admit that I was dubious about eating here after a not very positive experience a year ago. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were professional and attentative and when one of our party was selected to be a passenger in the Red Arrows car display, they happily arranged for his main course to be served when he returned to the table.
The food was hot and tasty, and the sausage and mash in particular was very good.

It's the second time we've dined at the Gullwing.
Can't say a bad thing about it.
The cheesecake was the best ever.

Booking was easy, very attentive staff, food was just enough for a lunch time. Front of house chap needed to be happy to see customers, he was not....

Delightful staff - the main meal was a little slow in coming and then the wrong main came for my husband but minutes later chips appeared so as not to disappoint him. Our son was brought a fabulous happy birthday plate of chocolatey dessert bites - complementary too ! Thank you for a great time. (One tiny thing - the chips needed longer in the fryer - very pale and a little tasteless)

The Gullwing Restaurant is in a great spot - views over the racing track mean there is always something interesting to look at. Which is lucky since there is nothing interesting about the food served here! My Chicken Pate was straight from a supermarket, the Minestrone was possibly the most tasteless soup I have ever encountered, the duck in the salad could have been drowned in the hoisin sauce dressing. The kids had a burger ('great' said my teenage son - with a mushroom and cheese) and sausage and mash (which was the best dish there). They must have had trouble in the kitchen because, although not really that busy on a Sunday lunchtime, it took almost an hour to get our food to us. The staff were absolutely lovely. We didn't stay for pudding.....
