Fantastic. The slip sole and chocolate/chestnut were outstanding. Much the best restaurant in Greenwich or Blackheath. Great value too for the quality.

Food was spectacular, full multidimensional taste to every part of the meal. Didn't disappoint at all! The house cocktail was so tasty!

We had a great meal, food was very good as was the service. It's strange having two menu options (upstairs and downstairs), which were both left on the table and seemed similar in price, but you could only choose from the area you were sitting in!

First class experience from the word go...
Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable staff in an intimate environment. Ideal for a special experience when you want to impress a loved one. The food was truely amazing and your taste buds will be revitalised with the explosion of falvours. Conveniently located from Greenwich. A must do and highly recommend!

I had eaten in the main pub previously but never in the "Upstairs" restaurant. We were blown away with how good the food was - particular favourites were the venison and the kale salad. Only slight quibble was with the mackerel dish as didn't quite get this one. With the option of taster menu or al la carte, there were not too many dishes and each one was cooked to perfection.
Service was first class, with attentive without being overbearing staff, very knowledgable about the food and wine, giving us free tasting of wines before choosing and putting up with our indecision...
Atmosphere was excellent with enough room between tables for that element of privacy. All in all, highly recommended.

Ok so this restaurant is based upstairs in the Guildford Arms pub. It's not pub food, but you can have excellent pub food downstairs in the pub ear it's fantastic garden at the rear. Upstairs is a new experience, the al la carte has just 8 or 10 dishes 2 of vegetarian, 2 of meat and 2 of fish with some starters. Ok so first thing to say is that all the dishes are of mid size between starter and main course size, so it's possible to have something of each type. Probably best is the taster menu where you a get some of everything and is good value at £40 + wine if you want it. We chose al la carte has some superb fish, beautiful venison and two wonderful deserts which we shared. The menu changes each month and the food and service are superb. It deserves to be much busier. We will recommend and definitely go again.

We tried the tasting menu and really enjoyed the food and paired drinks. The chef and team had obviously put a lot of thought into the menu and it showed. Our waiter was also excellent and very knowledgeable about the food and wine. We had a very pleasant evening and highly recommend the whole experience. We will definitely visit again.

Fantastic, seasonal and local food! The tasting menu was well thought out with excellent flavour combinations which were brilliantly matched with an interesting wine selection. It is obvious that the chef trained at Fera and I am delighted to have such a great local restaurant.
