Service great and food lovely... I like the garden, but inside is a little soulless, but cant fault it

Food was lovely, could have done with more gravy and a bit more flavoursome, there was a mean piece of a tiny stuffing ball which was disappointing as stuffing with chicken is a must and plenty of it please! They ran out of ice-cream to go with the dessert, big disappointment as my guest doesn't like cream which was the alternative. Find it hard to believe you can run out of ice cream when all you have to do is have the freezer well stocked. They weren't exactly overlfowing with diners. Considering the quality of Guy Awford's reputation and I've dined at his Inside restaurant when is was here and he catered for my 50th party so overall it was just ok, not stunning.

The Guildford Arms looks like a really nice pub so the food is not necessarily what you'd expect...in a great way! It's basically fine dining but in a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The food is really delicious and the staff are very friendly and attentive. We've been twice now and will definitely go again. Highly recommend!

Service was good and ambiance ok as it is quite noisy. Food however was only average. Two of our party had fish which was totally over cooked.

Good cooking in what might be called modern British style. Fairly empty on a weekday lunchtime, perhaps because it is a fairly stiff walk away from the touristy centref Greenwich. Pleasant decor with large garden garden providing plenty of alfresco tables. In an area not overburdened with good eating places definitely "vaux le detour".
