Delicious food in lovely setting. We were lucky to be able to eat in the garden in mid-March - real treat!

Please think more carefully about non-meat dishes. The "fish" main course on the weekday set menu, in addition to fish, listed shellfish (which many fish eaters do not consume) and a chorizo crust, which no non-meat eaters would consume! Luckily the vegetarian option was good, which was our first choice anyway. We noticed that although a set menu is usually better value than selecting the same two items à la carte, in fact the cost here was exactly the same - not excessive, but not a "special deal". We found portions adequate not particularly generous.

This was our first visit to The Guilford Arms and we were very pleased with the experience. The welcome was warm, there is a nice bar area to have a drink before you eat, atmosphere was relaxed and buzzy, food was very fresh and well presented, although we were a little surprised that we were not offered any bread all in all we both agreed that we would go back. Greenwich lacks decent eateries they all tend to be chain type establishments so when "Inside" closed down and decamped to The Guilford Arms we were disappointed, however the good food ethic has been carried over and whilst located in a quite residential area rather than Greenwich centre this is not an issue. Can recommend.

Food was delicious and the bonus was that the weather was so good we could sit outside. Beer was very good too!

The starters and Sunday roasts were delicious. It was a large thick rare cut of beef with a rich gravy, good roasties and huge Yorkshire pud. The pork was melt in the mouth. Definitely one of the better roasts we've had in ages. Service was top notch too.
