Dining with friends - first visit to Grove Lock as new to area. Walked past on canal walk and it looked very busy (good sign), read reviews and decided to book.
Fast friendly service. 3 of us had mains from the specials. Reasonably priced. Would definitely book again.

With a prized entry in the Good Food Guide, The Grove Lock offers classic pub meals and Cask Marque ales. The pub sits on the water’s edge beside the Grand Union Canal, where diners can enjoy the pretty terrace garden or snuggle up by the fireplace in winter.

The vintage-themed interior at The Grove Lock Fuller’s pub creates a warm setting to enjoy rustic pub dishes like treacle glazed house-baked ham and London Pride battered cod. International favourites include olive and feta tagliatelle, herb stuffed chicken breast and Thai beef salad with carrot, bok choi and noodles dressed with light soy and lime.

Offering a specific children’s menu, The Grove Lock pub advises diners to book ahead to enjoy a sumptuous Sunday roast. The drinks list encompasses real ales, fine wines, spirits, beers and soft drinks.

The Grove Lock Leighton Buzzard in the Bedfordshire countryside provides a fun environment to enjoy barbecues or hog roasts in the al fresco area.

It's been a while since we last dined here, so we booked without viewing the menu (our fault), We arrived early, bought drinks and were shown to table.
Slightly disappointed with the range of main meals on offer, but again I should have looked before booked.

However, the meal I ordered was good, and my wife said her meal was ok.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and although it was very busy, the food arrived in a timely fashion.

Friendly and clean. Beautiful location. A busy evening as it was quiz night and we were going on to the theatre at Aylesbury so very concious of the time. Needn't have worried. The meals were delicious and generous portions. All in all perfect.

Warm welcome from the staff. Good range of drinks available. Restaurant tables well placed and seating comfortable. Attentive service. Good range of menu, with daily specials and a sandwich menu if you're not so hungry. Tasty meat pie and burger options and good portions. All topped off with excellent views of the canal and narrow boat activity. A favourite location.

very friendly and accommodating staff. Was given the dinner menu rather than lunch which we had to ask for. Kids meal was lovely - soup was very watery and disappointing. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and I would highly recommend to anyone

Went here for a birthday meal with my family, booking a table online was so easy and the email response of my booking was very quick. Really nice atmosphere, welcoming, warm and cosy and very clean, our food was great all the dishes we had were generous portion size and tasted lovely, would recommend Paul's brownie for dessert so yummy and what's more the service we received couldn't have been better.
