Lovely evening and the food was excellent. Lots of choice on the menu with so many things I could have chosen. Well looked after by the staff. Pleasant interior but little bit noisy ( possibly few soft furnishings to dampen the noise of chattering) .Parking not that easy.

We arrived a little early and service was great until restaurant got busier and then we were left waiting as the wait staff fiocussed on two groups of young men ! The wait staff gave them a lot of service.
I was really surprised when the chef could not say whether the fish was pole and line caught? It was an a la carte menu and I thought they might be more informed about food?
The starter was good but the stir fry veg under my fish were soggy and too salty. We loved the sharing starter but the deserts were not what I expected? The creme brûlée seemed very pastey and not gelatinous as if it had been cooked in a ban Marie.

Overall we have spent less on a meal and had better quality especially as we don't drink.

Very professional staff from the minute we arrived. We arrived 10 minutes early and had to wait a few minutes while our table was prepared for us so ordered a drink from the bar. We were a party of four and only one of our party wanted a starter, when the started arrived the other three of us were given an espresso style cup and saucer with a spicy tomato soup in which was delicious. The main course we all had different was beautifully presented and very tasty. Staff constantly arrive at your table to see if you want more drinks and everything is ok with your meal. We then had one pudding and coffees, all very enjoyable. We would definitely return.
