Loved the personal welcome and recommendations. Would of liked more variety in the mains for the early diner menu. I would also love to bring my parents but they are disabled and would not be able to use the stairs.

The food was perfect! Service was very good although felt a little rushed at times- as soon as finished plates were removed even though one guest was still eating.

Very pleased with meal experience. Myself and husband had the roast beef, which was excellent. My husband (unfortunately !) enjoys his beef well done, which is not always easy to get at restaurants, but his request was accepted and he enjoyed his well done beef! Everything was well cooked and seasoned, including the Yorkshire puddings which were tasty, and so unlike the tasteless ones which are served at some restaurants. The desserts were lovely. The brandy snap basket was delicious. The service was very good, attentive, friendly but not intrusive.

Everything was great! Food, cocktails and service were amazing. The restaurant is very loud but still had a nice atmosphere. Only slight let down was the toilets, only 2 cubicles both with dodgy toilet seats. Still were very clean though.
Would definitely return to try more of the menu.

Staff greeting us when first came in - excellent they took our coats nice touch.
Drinks - Barman was very good.
Food - 4 people 2 had the Sunday lunch (pork) excellent not at all dry, with the roast potatoes which were great.
The othe two people had the Lamb dish which they shared the lamb was clocked to perfection, the criticism I would have was that the plates were cold when they came and there was a few minutes delay in bringing the meat which meant the potatoes were a little cold.

But that would not stop me from returning or recommending it to anyone else.

This was a wonderful experience. Everything perfect : exquisite food, live music, a perfect concept in the decoration, and a friendly, smiling and helpful staff. The oysters were superb, and the lobster and scallops divine. The extra attention in offering a desert with handwritten "Happy Birthday" in chocolate on the plate was really the cherry on top of the cake. We'll definitely come back on our next visit in the area, and recommended this wonderful restaurant on Trip Advisor for its high quality. Thank you to Charles and his team!
