An elegant gastropub on the edge of Greenwich Park, The Greenwich Tavern boasts a cosy interior and a sunny roof terrace. From locally sourced ingredients, a variety of British and European dishes are served, as well as a traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings.
Hearty classics lead The Greenwich Tavern menu. Amongst the tempting options are the beef burger with cheese and bacon, cider-battered cod with tartar sauce, or the tantalising 6-hour slow-cooked pork ribs with barbecue sauce and hand-cut chips. For a lighter but equally flavour-packed meal, opt for the warm chicken, bacon and avocado salad with balsamic reduction, or baked salmon with sautéed vegetables, crushed potatoes and white wine sauce.
With comfy leather sofas and dark wooden flooring, The Greenwich Tavern is a charmingly rustic venue. At the bar, world wines and craft ales are joined by a classic cocktail list.
The Greenwich Tavern London is in the historic centre of Greenwich , close to the river, the market and the Royal Observatory. Both Greenwich and Cutty Sark stations are a short walk away.

Great location but the poor service and mediocre food lets this place down.
