Very good lunchtime experience. Service was prompt, knowledgeable and very welcoming. The lunchtime menu was quite short but well balanced and the food had the unusual "tweak" that I associate with the Goshawk. Value for money was very good.

Excellent service and food. Wine list and beer selection also very good. Charming and welcoming decor. The Goshawk has always been a favourite of ours, particularly for special occasions.

Took friends for a joint birthday celebration, having eaten at the Goshawk a few weeks earlier. The food and service were both excellent. Our friends didn't know the Goshawk, but were really impressed, and will certainly be returning.

Evening, recently enjoyed a lovely valentines meal here (the place is now very special ??) and can only praise the whole evening from a lovely table situated next to the open fire, to the attentive and knowledgeable staff and then the excellent menu with quality options for every course, cooked to perfection. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for somewhere quality for a night out - and can recommend the pork belly for the meat eaters.

Great service and great food. I have an allergy to garlic but the chef is more than happy to accommodate me by substituting ingredients as necessary

We live locally so visit often. The food - sea trout- was well cooked and nicely presented. The service was friendly and attentive. However, the cost of a 175ml glass of Sauvignon blanc, at £6.30, was something of a shock.
