A beautiful dining room, tables well spaced and the waiters' waistcoats matched the chairs! We had the set menu that included 2 matched glasses of wine. The rabbit terrible stater came with a small piece of Welsh rarebit, delicious. The sommelier was very helpful around the wine choice and gave us good advice. The Cornish cod was delicious too. The desserts did not sound too exciting, Black Forest & soaked peaches so we all went for the British cheeseboard. This came with a selection of biscuits & chutneys, the cheese was fabulous and again the waiter very knowledgable with the selection.
We thoroughly enjoyed the lunch, a beautiful place.

The dining experience was amazing, my cousin and I felt it really was a sense of occasion. The staff were first class and made your visit even more special, the food and wine were exquisite. I would highly recommend The Goring with its recent Royal connection it makes it feel even a more like a magical experience.

We had a lovely evening - drinks overlooking the garden to start with and we ordered while having our aperitifs and then to the dining room. It was my son's 18th and they brought cakes with happy birthday on which was beautifully done - a really nice evening and relaxed environment not to mention fabulous food

From the greeting at the door to the table service everything was immaculate. We enjoyed delicious food and a very good value deal- as we both had the same wine we were given the whole bottle, not just 2 glasses each. As it was my birthday I was treated to a delicious cake , complete with candle! Sumptuous but also very friendly. Highly recommended.

Excellent service, opulent surroundings, divine food and wine. The perfect venue for our second anniversary dinner! Not too sure about those Swarovski crystal chandeliers though but I'm old fashioned!
