Never fails to delight. Lovely atmosphere and wonderful food. The Beef Wellington was superb, congratulations on the new recipe, and the warm Eccles cake with Beauvale blue cheese was a delight. Attentive service. A great night.

Had wonderful meal- only comment was there was a long gap between courses. We were not in hurry so did not matter but we both commented on it.
As it was a surprise for my wife's birthday it was bit annoying the restaurant rang to confirm booking and spoke to my wife!

The Rabbit terrine was very pretty plate of food. The pickled veg complimented it.
The Lamb for the main was also good, would have liked more veg/potato.
The Lemon tart was pretty but quite sour.

Excellent food and dealt with our dietary requirements. Perhaps where shellfish/meat products were left out of our choices due to dietary requirements, the additional vegetables should not have been charged for.

This was my second visit to the Goring and it was a lovely lunch with a friend. I did think that the choice at lunchtime was not as extensive as when I came for dinner and for anyone not being too adventurous, it was necessary to order the dishes at quite a high extra cost which was unfortunate. It would have been better to have just had an a la carte menu. Considering the extra cost of the salmon, the portion was tiny.
Perhaps I was expecting too much after a wonderful dinner in August.

Excellent! Service, food, wine and atmosphere was all in top. It was more of a happening than just a lunch and I would def. recommend it to friends.
