At The Glasshouse restaurant, luxury buffets featuring dishes from around the globe are served with beautiful views over the Formal Gardens. The terrace makes for perfect al fresco seating in the warmer months, and for enjoying a drink from the bar.

An eclectic and irresistible selection of British, Mediterranean and Asian dishes are served up on The Glasshouse menu, with guests invited to select from the wonderfully fresh and varied buffet selection. Diners can watch the talented chefs at work, using traditional wood-fired ovens, woks, and rotisseries, resulting in dishes like crispy Szechuan beef, gnocchi in tomato and basil sauce, and roast rib of beef with Yorkshire puddings.

For lighter meals, or to go with drinks on the terrace, there are light tapas options at The Glasshouse, such as stuffed vine leaves, and tomato and basil brochettes.

Also offering a kids’ menu and full wine list, The Glasshouse Rickmansworth is a diverse buffet-style eatery in a beautiful setting.

Service is at a very high standard. plenty of friendly staff. We arrived at the main entrance had our coats taken and where then shown to the glass house. At the entrance we were shown to our table and had the buffet layout explained so we knew where everything was. drinks orders were taken. Table checks were regular but not overbearing and the staff would stop and chat. The chefs on the buffet were friendly and there was no skimping on food served. you can go back as many times as you want. All the food was of excellent quality and there was varied options. Its an intetnational themr we had tapas and a soup for starters. For mains a selection of carvery meats and a fish. ( There was a large stir fry section that will try next time) There was a selection of desserts followed by cheese and biscuits with coffee. All together a very enjoyable experience

Very disappointing. Limited selections for main course on the buffet. I ended up with congealed curry which was disgusting. No one serving at the freshly cooked station. Staff could understand us when we asked for appletize or soft drink selection. Kept offering cider to our underage daughter. Spoilt our anniversary dinner

It was wonderful - everything from the food to the staff, the facilities - can't praise it enough

Dining experience was good. The restaurant and the service was excellent. Food choices were great. However the food labelling was not always correct. in most cases you could tell that the label and the food didn't go. But for the curries you couldn't. So - I did end up with a spoonful of Paneer - when I wanted Lamb Rogan

We have dined at The Glasshouse. The wide choice of great buffet options are great and the quality of the food and wine are excellent. The quality of the service from arrival to departure in the bar and the Glasshouse itself is usually first class, but last night the service was a little less attentive, just a little less precise. Perhaps they were a staff member or two down? Hard to tell, but for once we didn't come away with a feeling of service excellence, which is a shame.
