The staff were great, attentive to detail but chilled enough to make you comfortable; food was superb, ambience of pub melding into restaurant suited us very well.

Table booked at 6.30pm, table ready at 6.30pm. Squid starter was best I have ever had (so so fresh, lovely) and the portions were spot on size wise. Had the pork belly, (would have liked a bit more crackling, but don't we all!!) Service was attentive but not overly so, was asked once if I enjoyed the food and yes I did. Would reccommend to friends and family as an "A la Carte dining experience, that does not break the bank. Wine menu was very good, try the Rioja yummy.

    A complete, pleasent experience.

Everything was fantastic - delicious food, excellent service. The only negative was being asked to vacate our table for the next "sitting" ... we had actually finished and were waiting for the bill, so it wasn't necessary to phrase it like this. A simple "Would you like the bill?" would have been more appropriate! However, this is a minor point, the atmosphere, food and service were excellent.

Fantastically helpful waitress. No problem with substituting one part of main course with another.

An overall nice dining experienec although the food wasn't as good as I'd had there before. Had the breast of Pheasant which was a bit dry and the cheese looked as though it had been sitting around as was dry on the edges. The service though was very good with waiting staff who clearly know there stuff and were able to answer any questions rather than having to run of and ask someone else which is a rareity nowadays.

8pm on a Wednesday for our 1st anniversary great food, polite very attentive staff food was quickly prepared maybe alittle to quick as it's nice to alow each course to settle. Dinner however was excellent as always with The Ginger brand of resurants. Always a wonderful experience

We've been quite a few times to the Ginger Pig, Hove for dinner and each visit we've been thoroughly impressed with the variety and quality of the menu. The service is always attentive and there's always a really good buzz about the place. Bare in mind that even when the place is full, you don't have to yell across the table to be heard in general conversation.

We dined at 7.30pm, we went straight for main course and deserts! The main course was delicious, not your normal run of the mill cuisine. The deserts were enormous, and would highly recommend the individual chocolate truffles with either tea or coffee to finish your meal off, they were amazing.
