A wonderful Sunday lunch to celebrate our 12th Wedding anniversary . The service was efficient but appeared relaxed even thought they were very busy. The staff all had smiles on their faces even when dealing wih a large party who did not appear to have made a booking . Food was excellent

We went for a late lunch. it was buzzing and busy but we were told that service might take a little while which it did but was not overlong and was within time given. The meal was really great and I would not fault it, found the seating a bit of an issue - we were at end and it was very difficult to get in and out, felt we were a nuisance to other diners already seated as they had to move - one table less or to reaarrange so at different angle would be much better.

Despite the initial car drama finding the restaurant including a confused satnav the location of the Ginger fox is a picturesque beacon of warmth in the wet English countryside. The food was as fantastic as mr fox himself and reasonably priced. The minor blip of a misguided corn creme brûlée was immediately compensated for by a fabulous dessert fit to fill two. The staff were so competent and kind even when there were problems with the payment, (out fault entirely) which resulted in a search for a laptop and a quick trip to online banking. I can't thank them and the chefs enough for a wonderful afternoon.
