Beautiful rooms, comfortable chairs .
Cups for tea a disappointment, would have been nicer to have a daintier prettier china cup ? So crockery poor.
Tea too dilute for my taste . Could have something to keep tes warm .
Scones heavy .
Sandwiches nice .
Should offer free water .

Poor. Firstly we arrived with a small case as we had been staying in London. Whilst we understand Harrods do not want people wandering around with cases I cannot understand why they have to charge £25 to store it. (You do get a voucher for £25 to spend if you spend £50 in 1 transaction.)They said it is for security reasons which is ridiculous when I went to collect my case they asked me which one it was as they hadn't even put a tag on it so I could have collected anyone's case. We enjoyed what we had but we only had 2 hours. We asked for more tea but it never came. We didn't receive our trifle and ended having to rush to catch our train so didn't have time to complain. They didn't offer for us to take it with us. They had boxed the cakes they we hadn't eaten. Overall very disappointed olthough what we did receive was pleasant.

My Husband had booked luxury afternoon tea for my 30th birthday.
We were shown to our seats quickly and all good arrived out in good time. Everything was explained in detail, we were offered more and nothing was too much trouble e.g. Taking a photo of us.
The waiter was very attentive and the food courses all delicious!
Service was great and a lovely novelty to be treated so well.
After we had finished eating all courses the pianist started to play Happy Birthday and I was brought a dessert plate with a couple more tea pastries on the words Happy Birthday written on in chocolate. The waiter sang to me and handed me a handwritten Birthday card which was a fantastic touch!
The decor and ambience was very grand and lovely! The whole time we ate there was a pianist playing the piano.
Lovely experience that I won't forget for a special Birthday!

A party of two had afternoon tea. We were told that if we wanted more of specific items we should each pay for a tea package. After sampling the wonderful food, we could have save money and only done one tea package. There was no duplication - two people could have enjoyed one meal. The restaurant is beautiful. I loved the scones and clotted cream. The event was everything I wanted it to be.

Poor. No choice of pastries. Pastries were also nothing special. Very over priced for mediocre food. Disappointing as booked for a special occasion.

We booked an afternoon tea for my daughters 30th birthday and it was truly superb! Our waitress was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble, the whole experience from the food to the atmosphere was the best.. Better than the savoy, whose cakes are not as good and wouldnt allow us to take home uneaten cakes. Harrods offered to box our pastries to take home.. Brilliant.
