While a quintessentially British country pub near to Stratford-upon-Avon, The Fuzzy Duck also has a modern, boutique outlook. Featuring a gourmet British menu best described as ‘contemporary Cotswold’, it prizes its sleek bar with both classic and innovative cocktails and provides luxurious lodging for guests.

Boasting British-sourced ingredients, The Fuzzy Duck menu offers eclectic, seasonal dishes, with lines specifically for kids, Sunday lunch and breakfast. It proffers mouth-watering choices such as wild rabbit ravioli with sweet cicely beurre blanc or the Ducky Fuzz supper, with duck breast, confit legs and faggots.

The Fuzzy Duck in Armscote was formerly a picturesque Coaching Inn, but has been tastefully refurbished by those behind Baylis & Harding. With a sleek white interior, yet rustic exposed beams, flagstone floors and roaring fireplaces, it poses the ideal duality of old and new, befitting of its pastoral setting.

The Fuzzy Duck is just 14 minutes’ drive from Stratford-upon-Avon in the picturesque Warwickshire hamlet of Armscote, nestled in the beautiful hills and valleys of the Cotswolds.

We had a great night at The Fuzzy Duck to celebrate my Birthday. Fabulous food, warm and friendly atmosphere and very attentive staff. The scotch egg starter was a particular favourite.

Loved the pea risotto. Party of 4 seemed to enjoy starters. I had lamb which I had to send back as it was too tough. The second plate was still a bit tough but edible. Despite that, very nice staff and as e stayed the night and had breakfast, which was excellent, the complete experience was good.

Nice food, but bit perturbed that were sold a bottle of wine at the bar without being given a wine menu, to then find it a rather expensive one!

lovely place to eat, great value for money

The restaurant is situated in a very pleasant village and, even from outside, it looks fresh and modern. Inside the décor is similarly fresh and very tasteful mixing the old with the new. The lunch menu was excellent with just the right amount of choice. One dessert worthy of mention was the crème brûlée which was a " proper" brûlée that required a heavy blow to break the caramel layer. Service was exceptional with all staff being very friendly and efficient. Overall, excellent food, service, surroundings and value for money. Highly recommended.

Food, drinks and service absolutely fantastic as usual. It knocks the spots off any other restaurant in Broadway or Chipping Campden. I would however prefer to eat in the older part of the restaurant and not the garden room which feels like a conservatory and a corridor of busy foot fall to and from the main bar area to the garden, rather than a cosy ambience. I will specify next time.
