While a quintessentially British country pub near to Stratford-upon-Avon, The Fuzzy Duck also has a modern, boutique outlook. Featuring a gourmet British menu best described as ‘contemporary Cotswold’, it prizes its sleek bar with both classic and innovative cocktails and provides luxurious lodging for guests.

Boasting British-sourced ingredients, The Fuzzy Duck menu offers eclectic, seasonal dishes, with lines specifically for kids, Sunday lunch and breakfast. It proffers mouth-watering choices such as wild rabbit ravioli with sweet cicely beurre blanc or the Ducky Fuzz supper, with duck breast, confit legs and faggots.

The Fuzzy Duck in Armscote was formerly a picturesque Coaching Inn, but has been tastefully refurbished by those behind Baylis & Harding. With a sleek white interior, yet rustic exposed beams, flagstone floors and roaring fireplaces, it poses the ideal duality of old and new, befitting of its pastoral setting.

The Fuzzy Duck is just 14 minutes’ drive from Stratford-upon-Avon in the picturesque Warwickshire hamlet of Armscote, nestled in the beautiful hills and valleys of the Cotswolds.

Booked the table for me and a friend around a couple of hours before hand. When we arrived they did not have our booking written down and had a conversation about where we were going to be squeezed in right in front of us. To say we felt like an inconvenience is a bit of an understatement. The service through the evening didn't get much better with my friend ordering one of their nice gin and tonics but receiving a pretty standard one and my white wine being served warm. This was my first visit to the Fuzzy Duck after a friend highly reccommeded going so left feeling pretty dissapointed. The only reason I would go back again is the quality of the food - hopefully the service would be better.

Great service. Fantastic food. Would highly recommend the duck which fell off the bone. Just delicious ??.

Not having been here since the current owners took it over, we thought we would try Saturday lunch. Gorgeous food particularly the pigeon, duck & lamb. Refreshing to have genuinely top notch food rather than good gastropub type.Tasteful decor without the bling associated with some gastropubs in these parts. Any moans? Well possibly the hoovering going on upstairs above our table which was slightly distracting towards the end of the meal but we were rather savouring our food.

The food was very good and the staff most pleasant and efficient. It was the lack of attention to detail that let the otherwise lovely evening down. A fine warm late summer evening and no cushions on the grubby outside chairs in the garden. The restaurant table top was very sticky ( apparently just varnished ! ) and the salt and pepper were grinders were the wrong way round. Particularly embarrassing on excellent food from the kitchen and putting the wrong seasoning on to your food!
Detail is important and completes a dining experience. Perhaps the management were away but this is usually a very fine and we'll run gastro pub with a great atmosphere. Shame it fell short on my wedding anniversary!!
