I thought the service was good and the food was mostly excellent. One comment I would make is that out of 4 diners, 2 of our fish courses were cold. In a meal of this standard I felt that was really disappointing. We didn't quite realise the difference between our meals until we discussed it afterwards.
The team were great, the service was great (especially the lady who looked after us, possibly the manager?). We enjoyed every other aspect of the dinner.
The apple dessert was just incredible, so thank you for that.

Exquisite food, great service! I had the six course taster menu - and so did my son, but he had a vegetarian version. He said it was the best food he had ever eaten. The French accommodated our requests (vegetarian/no mushrooms, good seat for the hard of hearing) brilliantly. Decor good for hard of hearing as well as being absolutely beautiful.

The cooking and service was absolutely faultless. We went for the Great British Menu 4-course lunch and our favourite was probably the hake dish, but really they were all superb. Particular mention to the sommelier who was extremely good.
When we arrived the restaurant seemed quite quiet and could maybe have done with some (very low) background music), but picked up as we were there.
