Situated in a region with history dating back to the Iron Age, The Fox Cubboasts fantastic views over the South Ribble countryside, and traditional British pub cuisine. The classic brickwork and oak furnishings support the rustic feel, and it features a cosy log fire and al fresco beer garden.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Fox Cub menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Fox Cub ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

The Fox Club Walmer Bridge is just an 11-minute drive from Preston.

    Service was slow
Food disappointing - strange piece of smoked salmon at bottom of risotto - not as advertised in menu
Very dirty floors in pub area
    Not worth the money
Toilets dirty - no toilet paper

Slow service, average food for the price. Nothing great. We won't be returning again.

Very poor. All three meals were not value for money, we were told that there was a 30 minute wait for food. It took them an hour and the food did not look as though it had been prepared by a chef. My daughters Pizza was narn bread with a few bits of chicken on and the dough wasn't cooked through. My son had the Ceasers salad with chicken again a poorly executed dish with very little flavour. I had the Wagyu burger served with seven chips in an earthen ware pot. The burger was tiny and had no flavour at all. Not worth the £12.50 price tag. The whole experience was awful and spoiled my sons birthday meal. We were offered no compensation for the hour long wait, and I didn't demand a reduction on the bill as my son was upset enough as it was....couldn't wait to get out of the place...will not set foot in the Fox Cub ever again. A complete waste of £50.20.

Food was excellent. I had fish and chips and have today the mushy peas were the best I have had. Service excellent. All the staff I came into contact with were lovely friendly and the service couldn't be fault. If you are a veggie the butternut squash was to die for according to my partner. I highly recommend the place

Excellent night, restaurant busy, but still well served. Slight mistake with the gluten free order but this was swiftly remedied , shame they had no gluten free bread.
