An historic pub that used to host Victorian boxing matches, The Forth Hotel in Newcastle is moments from Central Station, and combines classic pub style with funky modern additions. There are roaring fireplaces inside, a popular beer garden with heaters and covered areas, and a great selection of ales and craft beers.

The very best in gourmet pub grub features on the Forth Hotel menu, ranging from British classics to international favourites. A range of generously filled burgers come loaded with toppings, there are mouthwatering seafood options like homemade Devon crab cakes or the fish finger bap with Aspall Cyder batter, and hearty British staples like pork, leek and Welsh rarebit sausages with spring onion mash. On Sundays there are popular roast dinners, and plenty of veggie options.

Desserts at The Forth Hotel Newcastle include chocolate brownie with vanilla bean ice cream, and the indulgent mandarin and orange liquor Belgian chocolate torte. From the bar, regularly rotated craft beers and cask ales sit alongside popular spirits and artisan soft drinks.

With a great chilled out vibe, and classic board games available to play, The Forth Hotel is an inviting city pub, and sits 2 minutes' walk from Newcastle Rail Station.

Bar staff pleasant. Long waiting time for food after order was placed. One plate of food had burned potatoes on and the other was not the food that was ordered. Money refunded for burned food also desserts waiting time was over 45mins so we had to leave as we had prior meeting. Money refunded from desserts.
