Excellent service and great food, and all during the rugby. Definitely worth it. We had the pie, the risotto and the lamb. All were delicious, proper, good pub grub.

Very popular Gastropoda which means that the level of noise is fairly high and the eating area is not very well separated from the bar. This did not make for a particularly intimate feeling. However, all the food was good (rib-eye steak was excellent) and a reasonable selection of wines to accompany. Service was also attentive and friendly. My wife and I both said we would go back there again.
