A bustling pub dating back to the 18th-century, The Fighting Cocks mixes classic pub style with contemporary touches, and offers a menu packed with British classics and international flavours. The huge beer garden offers heaters to keep the chill away, and covered areas for when it rains.

The Fighting Cocks menu is bursting with flavours from around the globe. To start, there are great sharing bites like the vegetarian arancini balls made with pea, feta and mint, as well as beef brisket cubes with spicy buffalo sauce. A range of burgers includes quinoa and mushroom, chicken and avocado, and beef brisket varieties, there are pub classics like Aspall Cyder battered fish and chips, and succulent roasted half chicken. The Sundays roasts are huge draws, with all the trimmings included.

No less than 14 speciality beers and ciders are served at The Fighting Cocks Birmingham, as well as Cask Marque accredited ales. For pudding, there are classics like chocolate brownie with vanilla bean ice cream, and indulgent salted caramel profiteroles.

Filled with a welcoming ambience, The Fighting Cocks puts on a popular Monday pub quiz, and sits 9 minutes' drive from Small Heath Rail Station.

lovely Sunday Roast. Very disappointed that my Mother in Laws Dietary requirements were not fully met. Food was sent out not cooked properly and then returned to her from the microwave. This which resulted in her eaten plain boiled food which she said was awful. They had over a days noticed of this prior to our visit and when I asked one of the girls working there she said they just need a mornings noticed and wasn't sure why the meals wasn't fully prepared. I even tried phoning up the pub days before but it constantly rings out.
