The tea itself was excellent - however, the service at first was extremely slow and not very friendly. After complaining a few times, the manager apologised and explained they were having problems. He tried his best to make up for it and eventually emailed to offer a complimentary glass of champagne next time we come! It was disappointing for our overseas guest but as said the quality and quantity of the tea was excellent!

Had a great afternoon tea here with my friend , food was plentiful and replenished if wanted any more. choice of 3 sandwiches , 2 focaccia type savoury ones too , 5 small cakes , plain scones and raisin ones , then choice of 2 big cakes off dessert trolley. Enjoyed name that tune with the piano player ( very nice eye candy too ?? ) my friend had beautiful cappuccino , I was not so impressed with my tea though. Overall met all our expectations

I think because of the time I booked 2 pm it was very busy and we had to wait over an hour for our tea,but when it did arrive it was lovely Staff there were polite and they looked after us. I found the overall tea area very warm and cosy and the piano music was relaxing. When we left I did notice the restaurant looked very inviting might just try it one day.

I really enjoyed my time here. The service was pleasant. I truly enjoyed the fancy but somehow still relaxed feeling here. It's true, it is expensive. But I left happy, extremely full, and had a lovely afternoon. The servers seemed to error on the side of leaving us be. So if you are finished, or want more of something, make sure to let them know.
