Inside a stunningly converted Methodist chapel now running over 3 floors, The Emporium includes a wine bar and brasserie, cafe, and interior design store. Boasting Parisian Grand Cafe style, drinking and dining here is relaxed and informal, with occasional live music events.

The Emporium menu is extensive, catering for people throughout the day. In the cafe section, speciality stone-baked pizzas feature alongside soups and sandwiches. The brasserie serves a range of brunch dishes, including Champagne breakfasts with smoked salmon, and also has an irresistible range of French-inspired recipes such as Brie and Camembert crème brûlée, and breast of Goosnargh chicken with Parisienne potatoes.

There is a carefully crafted wine list at The Emporium Clitheroe, featuring Old and New World vintages, as well as a cocktails and beers on draught and by the bottle. The dessert menu boasts traditional favourites like sticky toffee pudding and peach Melba.

Filled with creative charm, The Emporium in Lancashire is just 6 minutes' walk from Clitheroe Rail Station.

Lively bar/bistro with a good atmosphere. Despite many diners the service was attentive and quick.
Food was well presented and good value from the Brasserie menu.

Lovely experience, excellent food and great members of staff. Will return to try something different on the menu.

Been here many times but today was not good ! There were 4 of us , two from the group ordered large glasses of red wine , the waiter returned with 2 small white wines ! This was.changed immediately . Then the same 2 from the group had ordered a blue cheese pizza as they are vegetarian, they were served a meat feast special pizza . Again the waitress took this back and after 5 mins appeared with what she said was a blue cheese pizza , it wasn't ! It was a soggy plain cheese pizza that had been rushed due to her error and hadn't an ounce of blue cheese pizza on it ! They left most of it . I had wanted a coffee but after 20 mins of waiting we gave up on that and got the bill . It was so good too , we were on the first floor and frozen ! We meet here on s a month but have decided to go elsewhere next month , never known it be so poor at the Emporium they messed up our order from the start . They also need to keep the outer door closed in winter too .

Lovely deco. Restaurant on 3 floors with a oft furnishings shop below. Food very good although service a little slow but it was lunch time & quite busy. Decide to have coffee elsewhere because of the delays but wouldn't put me off going again

Dined last Sunday for lunch with my family - Busy stream of people in and out. Would definately recommend the Chicken and wild mushroom tagliatelli it was to die for! The staff were very friendly and attentive - just the right amount. I have dined a couple of times here and will certainly return. Prices as expected. The presentation of food is very good.
