What an amazing place! Definitely the best afternoon tea I have ever had. The attention to detail, the different flavours and textures! Exquisite! What is also important to me is good service. Our waiter and waitress were polite, friendly, efficient and explained everything we ate. Nothing was too much trouble. The setting was lovely, the table beautifully set and everything spotlessly clean. Very impressed and will definitely go again!

The food was exquisite. We waited a long time (3.00booking) but one guest was slightly late (parking)but we did not eat until 4.30pm. Tea was served firstly, but then totted up on to cold tea instead of a new pot. We ran out of milk and did not have a third pot. I think the kitchen must get a move on when a bottleneck of guests occurs. I think the layout of the tables for two was too much like a squashed up cafe (all in a line) instead of elegantly set out in view of the ambience. I can see why this is how it is. Many people have to be accommodated. I personally had a lovely round table for four so no complaints on that. The staff are all lovely and polite. It was a special birthday treat and I was slightly disappointed because one guest had an evening appointment which she could not keep due to the delays.

The afternoon tea was superb, particularly the signature vanilla tea and sandwiches...the bar snacks were delicious - best fries we have ever had, along with the yummy cheese and meat platter...the cocktails were great, and the staff were all lovely and very attentive...lovely dining area with the gold deer statues either side of the window!

Fantastic food and experience. Something abit different from usual fine dining. Waitress never asked if we needed any tea or milk refils though, had to keep catching her attention and ask for it. Overall, good and will go again. Probably take my daughters next time..

I took my husband for an afternoon valentines tea and it was just the perfect afternoon. The tea , sandwiches , desserts and pastries were all prepared and presented to perfection. I would especially recommend the Edgbaston speciality tea as it was glorious! Our host was extremely informative, bubbly and hospitable and no point did we feel rushed. To top it off , after the tea came warmed scones with clotted cream and jam- however,by this time we were stuffed to the brim (but simply could not resist at least 1). Our leftover desserts were generously packed In a beauty foil swan for our kids to enjoy too. Every detail was astounding - and there's a real treat when you first sit down for tea which I shan't spoil for you if you haven't been before!

From the moment we arrived at The Edgbaston it felt special . It was a afternoon tea for my daughters 21st birthday. I can only say it was amazing.
The food, the presentation , the ambience. The staff were very informative and attentive even though it was very busy.
I absolutely loved the selection of food. Not your normal finger food sandwiches, the taste of everything was beautiful especially with the LP rose champagne!! The tea selection was good something for everybody.

Would I go back ? 1million percent . Maybe try a hotel room as well with an evening meal!!
