First time using bookatable. Took my 93 yr old mum for dinner. Didn't need to worry about noise or comfort. The staff were v. friendly & helpful. The food was v.good although beef arrived rare. Apparently should have been asked if we wanted rare or well done but staff resolved this without any fuss.

We booked a month ago so they knew how many people and what for - a special 50th birthday meal. Whilst staff were friendly service was very slow booked 7.30pm, we were all there, served main course at 9.30pm. Non - drinkers were starving by then.Lunch time dining is much better at this pub. We had to send 2 lots of food back, one not as specified and one not cooked properly. A shame really. The rest of the food was ok.

Excellent food and a great menu to choose from. The haddock was simply delicious, and the wine list excellent. Amazing value for money.
