Good location. Good and reasonably priced menu. Dined on a Tuesday evening, was busy but service was attentive but not overpowering and the food came out quickly and was good for the price

At the base of Salesforce Tower on Bishopsgate, The Drift is a spectacular venue from Drake and Morgan: the team behind The Folly, The Anthologist, The Parlour and The Refinery. A huge, modern space houses an emporium of quirky tidbits, a mixology table and a contemporary kitchen.

A kaleidoscopic menu at The Drift ranges from British classic cottage pie, reworked with pancetta and swede mash, to prawn lollipops and katsu fries. Succulent steaks can be upgraded to surf ‘n’ turf with a half Scottish lobster, while a breakfast and brunch menu offers a variety of options from around the world alongside innovative cocktail recipes, like the breakfast martini.

A 30-page drinks list at The Drift in London provides a spectrum of offerings, from fairy-tale inspired cocktails to hearty draught beers, while a salted caramel milkshake is made with bulleit bourbon and chocolate bitters. All drinks are muddled by The Drift’s expert bar staff, from whom mixology and flambé classes are available.

The Drift is a 3-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station, at 110 Bishopsgate.

The Drift is a nice modern bar restaurant we had booked for dinner at 7pm but arrived early. We were able to get seated earlier by the very friendly hostess. The service was a little slow but the staff were very polite and friendly so that didn't matter so much. The menu is very tempting but sadly the main course didn't live up to expectations. Overall the experience was ok I would go again to see if it was just a one off.

Lobster and Burger was excellent, very tasty! Very nice cocktail too. We dined mid afternoon and the service was not very on the ball - I watched my cocktail sat on the bar for about 10minutes before going to get it myself... Overall still a good experience as the food was so good

As our booking was at 5pm, it wasn't busy yet. We were given a long table (party of 3) a good distance from people who were just having drinks which definitely helped in terms of noise. The meal was good, the Steak, Lobster and Bubbles is good Value for money and staff were helpful in helping recommend a dessert.

Would of been a perfect 5 but they served me cold food first time, they then served the food brought the chips after when they should of come together

Turned up no booking!! Bought a beer and it was thrown away when I popped to toilet. 3/4 of a pint. This happened twice, once again at the table. Had reef beef bubbles. Steak was over cooked and pure gristle. I appreciate it was a special offer but still should be edible.

The deal was £15 for steak, lobster, chips and prosecco. We were very disappointed with the service, maybe it was a bad night or due to being short staffed but we had to continously ask for service! It was a busy very thursday night I understand but the staff didnt seem tentative that customers has been sitting there for a while. We had to ask when the prosecco is coming which took a while then our mains came straight away which was weird as we ordered appetizer first which we then cancelled. One of my friend had to actually get the condiments herself because they didnt come back to us when we asked for mayo and ketchup. The deal kept us there otherwise we were close to walking out. Food was OK. Lobster was hard to eat as they didnt give us tools to eat the lobster with so were bashing the lobster with our knives!
