A stunning 19th-century 5-star boutique hotel in Chelsea, The Draycott Hotel offers its own luxurious take on the quintessentially British tradition of afternoon tea.

The Draycott Hotel afternoon tea menu is wonderfully faithful to British traditions, giving diners a true taste of this famous institution. Delicate fingers sandwiches come with thinly sliced salmon, cucumber and cream cheese, and lightly spiced coronation chicken, followed by freshly baked scones, both in fruit and plain varieties. These of course are served with luscious clotted cream, and strawberry jam.

Sweet treats at The Draycott Hotel in Chelsea include macaroons in flavours such as vanilla, passionfruit and peanut butter, as well as classic Victoria sponge and lemon drizzle cakes. To accompany, there are unlimited refills of various premium loose leaf teas from all across the globe, and there is the option to include champagne as an extra treat.

Moments from the famous King's Road in Chelsea, The Draycott Hotel in London is a hallmark of British elegance. Sloane Square Tube Station is only 4 minutes' walk away.

My boyfriend and I treated my parents to afternoon tea when they were visiting and had a wonderful time! The table was beautifully laid out in front of a fireplace with very comfortable couches to sit on. It was a very warm and intimate atmosphere, which was a lovely change from other locations I've previously been to. It was an abundant arrangement of delicious sandwiches and desserts, and we were uncomfortably full by the end. And there was still an array of desserts uneaten. While you could have a wider selection of high-end teas, unlimited food, or more complex pastries elsewhere, I would say the spread that Draycott provided, coupled with the overall ambience and experience, made this the best afternoon tea experience I've had yet.
