Great service. Very friendly and didn't feel rushed. Would have liked more/larger savory items on the plate. The dry ice made the tea eventful.

Went here for afternoon tea. Food was fantastic, ambiance equally great. Majority of the staff were friendly and lovely, apart from one waitress. Our entire group of 8 saw her rolling her eyes at our requests on separate occasions. She brought us 6 of one item even though we had ordered 8. We waited 15 mins without saying anything, assuming she couldn't carry it all on one go, no problem. They didn't come so I requested them, and we got so much attitude from this waitress! Without even looking at what was on our table she started arguing that she'd brought the right things. I'm not sure what this lady's problem was, but it soured the whole event. We would happily come back, assuming we wouldn't have to deal with her again. I assume she was a new hire as when I went to pay the bill a more senior staff member (who was fantastic) was telling her what to press on the till to bring a bill up.

Great afternoon tea experience and would really recommend it.
There was a delay in getting the food and the staff were very hospitable to us as a result. Will go back again!

Treated my husband for his birthday to an afternoon at the Science Museum and than after to have a "Science Tea" at the Drawing Rooms. Arrived 45 minutes early for the prearranged booking for tea which the staff said was no problem. However they served a pot of tea but we had to wait 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Guess it was only ready for the time we booked. Nice selection but a little over sweet for my taste. Kids would love it.

Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. My friend is coeliac and needs to follow a strict gluten-free diet, so one of the lady staff went all the way to help by checking and ensuring that all ingredients were suitable for my friend's consumption. Another lady staff also helped us by changing a seat which was shaky. My friend and I were happy with the overall food standard, especially the scones. However, we thought lots of improvement (in terms of taste) would be needed for the sweets (we were rather disappointed with the top tier of our afternoon tea), chocolates (the chocolate arrow and biscuit in the wooden box), and perhaps the bread items (the lower tier, the fillings were really great - fresh salmon, nice sauces, fantastic egg mayonnaise, but the breads carrying them were rather dry). Nevertheless the tea was fine and we will love to try other things on the menu when there is a chance in near future.

We had the science of love afternoon tea - food was great but we would prefer a better balance between savoury and sweets. Staff was nice and we felt welcome. Seats were just a little uncomfortable but in our overall experience was really good. Would definitely recommend.
