I loved everything about my hight tea with Pimms! I loved all the puddings and scones because I have a sweet tooth but all the sandwiches were lovely to! The tea pots and cup and sources were so pretty

The afternoon tea was excellent. Both savouries and sweets were delicious and there was plenty of it. Unfortunately there was no Pimms but Mulled Wine was an excellent seasonal alternative. The wine choice is limited, for my party a Cava would have been preferable to Prosecco but that was entirely down to personal choice and not a complaint. The surroundings were peaceful and the staff friendly and unobtrusive. All in all it was a fabulous experience.

Lovely friendly staff, gorgeous food and nice atmosphere. We had the afternoon tea and the savoury platter was beautiful! We were too full tp eat all the desserts so they kindly boxed them up for us to take away.

I have been for afternoon tea here a few times with different people and have never been disappointed. Great selection of food, great service. My favourite place to have afternoon tea.

The food and service was great and plenty of food to eat for afternoon tea and good selection.
The only complaint I would have is the fact there was a large group of ladies in (about12) and although I don't blame them I felt at times the noise chatting laughing level was so high at times I couldn't hear or speak to the two people with me. It was a smallest area and I understand there is another room upstairs and perhaps they should think about putting larger groups in a separate area to small groups.

As first time visitors of The Dining Room, my Mum and I had a really enjoyable experience. The food was absolutely lovely, great value for money and we enjoyed every last crumb! However, on arrival we were seated upstairs in one of the gallery rooms and we feel we would have enjoyed the dining experience a little more had we have been seated downstairs where there seemed to be a great atmosphere (when we were seated upstairs there was two empty tables beside us but this did pick up slightly!). If we were to book again, I would ask to be seated downstairs but overall the food and service was great and we had a lovely time.
