We went to the Dining Room for afternoon tea which was amazing. The staff were really friendly and very efficient and helpful. The food was delicious with freshly made sandwiches, my favourite of which was brie. There was also a savoury scone with cheese and chutney which was really nice, a coronation toast and a quiche. This was then followed by the cake stand which included freshly made scones, which were still warm and a selection of cakes. However my favourite was the salted caramel macaroons. These were absolutely brilliant, so good that we purchased some extras to take home.

We had a lovely experience having afternoon tea at The Dining Room. We booked 5 prosecco afternoon teas in advance and when a couple of people wanted to change to pimms / just tea and coffee on arrival this was no problem. I don't eat dairy or gluten and this was catered for no problem (I did tell them about this in advance) and I was able to enjoy variants of all the same sandwiches, cakes and scones as everyone else. All the staff were really nice and it was very busy in there which made for a nice ambiance. I would highly recommend for a nice and good value afternoon tea experience.

First visit. Lovely ambience. Food was very tasty and staff were very accommodating and adjusted food to cater for a tomato allergy. Brie sandwiches were very popular and the macaroons were to die for!! Would definitely recommend this venue. Many thanks.

Didn't realise the place was so small, you need either a bigger room or less tables. Initially put on the wrong table as the waitress didn't listen properly when we arrived for our reservation. Food itself was lovely, looked beautiful and presented nicely. Service unfortunately was incredibly slow. We were waiting a good half an hour between savoury and sweet during our afternoon tea. It's a good job we were not in a hurry. Waiting staff were very pleasant and clearly very busy. As lovely as this little place is I wouldn't recommend it to the disabled or people with pushchairs/young children.

This is the second time we have been here. This is a very small and quaint location (imagine 1950's décor and crockery). This is a family run business. The food is to die for - they had changed the selection from when we went in February. The macaroons are so chewy and my favourite. Everything provided for your afternoon tea is fantastic, both in quality and flavour. I would highly recommend! But, book early as this venue only holds 20-25 people.

I went with my mum for afternoon tea and it was a wonderful experience. We didn't feel rushed at all and the staff were really attentive and helpful. I really liked the fact there were so many teas and coffees to choose from, all included in the price. The food was tasty and presented really well. Having a savory platter and then a sweet one really made us feel we were getting loads for our money.
