Third visit, took my friend for her birthday treat. As always lovely friendly service and delicious food as always. Cakes are so well presented, the hot chocolate is the best I have ever had.

Lovely afternoon. Booked for 4 adults and 2 children. Special occasion as it was my mum and dads Golden Wedding Anniversary. Very disappointed about the children's tea. For what you pay I dont think it was
worth it. Was expecting the kids to have a small tower of their own with their own sandwiches and bits on, as it was it all came out together and they only had two tiny sandwiches each and a small handful of crisps. Needless to say my 8 year left feeling very hungry. Cakes were lovely but again quite disappointed with the selection for the children. When I spoke to the owner/chef on Friday before we arrived he told me they would have quite a varied selection and this would include chocolate brownie but unfortunately not. The only thing they ate was the scone. Although very lovely again very disappointed not much selection for them. For what we were charged for the kids it did not reflect in the food that they were given.

It was lovely and tasty. Nothing could be faulted. It was a meal for everyone and if you didn't like something there was plenty to replace it. It was an experience which I would like to have again. Having had chemotherapy and taste changes, I found something to enjoy and want again. Thank you.

We had a very nice time. The overall quality was very good and the service. I would say the mint used in our Pimms wasn't very fresh & maybe the cakes could have been more traditional. We would visit again for afternoon tea.
