We really loved the ambience and mood of the venue - the staff we really warm, welcoming and helpful. The bread from the sandwiches was not entirely fresh, a little dry (it was towards the end of the afternoon) and the fillings a little disappointing. However mini cakes were tasty and the large cakes delicious.

Comfortable and caring environment, you can have an intimate dining experience, the scones and coronation chicken sandwiches were to die for, thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea.

Overall not very impressed. Sandwiches were dry, and cakes too sweet with not much flavour. Surroundings were lovely but service on the whole was underwhelming. I left rather disappointed and £100 poorer.

Our waiter, Adam, was so attentive, helpful and cheerful. Made our first experience here at real treat.

Great experience booked via a voucher ( for Tearista experience. Staff seemed totally unable to understand this ! so beware. The Tearista experience was very interesting but not really worth the money ! The cream tea was excellent. Refills of all items available and offered as many times as you wanted. They were very busy when we visited (during christmas week) and service was not up to expected standard and seemed that temporary staff hired !
