Our waiter, Adam, was so attentive, helpful and cheerful. Made our first experience here at real treat.

Great experience booked via a voucher ( for Tearista experience. Staff seemed totally unable to understand this ! so beware. The Tearista experience was very interesting but not really worth the money ! The cream tea was excellent. Refills of all items available and offered as many times as you wanted. They were very busy when we visited (during christmas week) and service was not up to expected standard and seemed that temporary staff hired !

Everything was lovely, from the service and ambiance to the tea and food. Most ample portions and they will bring you more if you really enjoyed a particular dish. There are several menu choices. Our waiter was most delightful and patiently answered all our questions. We enjoyed it so that my daughter bought a cookbook. We will be making Coronation Chicken for lunch today. I would highly recommend the Fortnum & Mason afternoon tea experience.

The waiter service was bad. I have to constantly lookout for them to have my orders. The male server looking after our seated area wasn't friendly to us. Before I finished speaking to order my 2nd item to be refilled, he took it for granted and walked away after I told him the first item I want it to be refilled. There were still some pastries on our tiered tray but i do not understand why he came to us and requested it to be taken away. I do notice he did ask other non Asian if they want further refill before he take it away but he did not offer it to us. Also I noticed we have not been asked if we would like to drink any water. I noticed other tables are being served with tap water though. Are there a discrimination for non Asian? I'm from Singapore and have been dining around the world. As of such, I feel the attitude and service level from your waiter needs to be highly polished for all nation.

We had a lovely time at our Christmas Afternoon tea. The restaurant was a little cold, but other than that we had fun. Our waiter was AMAZING (I wish I could remember his name - Spanish guy). Highly recommend the lobster omelette.
