A picture-postcard hotel, The Dartbridge Inn Buckfastleigh dates back to the 19th century. A cosy country retreat with open fires and oak beams, discover seasonal food, real ales and world wines.

Specialising in trusty, home-cooked British recipes, The Dartbridge Inn menu is made up of time-honoured classics and inventive chef’s specials. The signature beef & ale pie is a creation from much-loved celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, while favourite world flavours include sizzling steak fajitas, or aubergine and roast beetroot curry. Gourmet sandwiches and jacket potatoes are served throughout the day, and guests can round things off with an indulgent crumble, cheesecake or sundae.

The drinks list at The Dartbridge Inn features carefully-chosen beers and international wines, and a lengthy list of soft drinks. Younger diners are not forgotten, with a varied menu for both lunch and dinner, and a mini roast served on Sundays.

On the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, The Dartbridge Inn Devon is 15 minutes from Totnes.

Thank you for a lovely meal, but it could be improved if the meal arrived sooner. The waitress was very polite and helpful and our stay was enjoyable, will definitely come back but perhaps on a weekday rather than a Sunday when the full menu is available.

    Many thanks

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped in the door, very friendly and accommodating staff
Some of the items on the limited menu weren't available but this was after a very busy weekend for them but we weren't that bothered and chose something else.
Beautiful view out the window and watched the sunset over the river dart, very nice.

The service was atrocious, it wasn't busy and took aver an hour to be served main courses only. The food was just as bad as it tasted like processed chicken. They messed up the bill and no apologies were given - would not recommend. Menu needs to be expanded as there was no choice and half the items had sold out.
