With a rich culinary heritage as a farmhouse, The Curlew near Bournemouth continues to offer traditional British pub cuisine with a welcoming rustic appearance. It features classic Victorian brick-work, a charming hearth-fire and al fresco outdoor seating, which enjoys great views around its secluded country location.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Curlew menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Curlew ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

The Curlew is just 14 minutes’ drive from Bournemouth Train Station.

Very busy but very good service but would have to think twice about returning at night due to no lights in car park and one of my party had a problem.

We both had 2 starters which were excellent followed by desserts. I had coffee with a mini dessert (creme caramel panna cotta) which was great.

All very smoothly booked online and table ready and waiting for us upon arrival. Prompt service throughout meal and all served nice and hot too. Have been many times before and always consistantly good service everytime. Was able to use 25% January discount as well so all in all we all (6) had a very good evening.

Service ws a little slow for the starters but this was no problem as we had drinks on arrival. The Starters and mains we chose we both very good. Service was good and the waiter conscientious. Overall a good dining experience definitely to be repeated

Myself and two friends only meet up a couple of times a year. It was my turn to choose where we went and so I decided on The Curlew after hearing good reviews. Two of us had the two course festive menu which was delicious and so filling! My 3rd friend had sea bass which she said was very good but not exactly as described on the menu. However we had no complaints about the food or drink. We were looked after by a young lady called Bethany who provided excellent service throughout. She was very friendly, very efficient and a really nice person.
