Decided to try this restaurant as a friend had been the week before. It was very busy when we arrived so we were asked to wait in the bar until our table was ready, which wasn't too long. We were seated at a window table (we had to request this) which had good views of the harbour. After our order was taken the starters were served up in fairly good time.
The mains seemed to take a while to be served and we were never asked if we needed another drink. Which didn't bother me as I was driving but it would of been nice to have been asked.
The mains was very tasty and there was plenty of it.
Overall, I would say it was expensive but then it was a seafood restaurant.

Starter food was excellent. Much more tasty than the main course which was OK but a bit uninteresting although O liked the basket of vegetables. It was both our fish which was a little bland. A very happy experience overall.

Gorgeous food and very good service. Beautiful seafood, wonderfully fresh and eaten on the restaurant balcony overlooking the harbour what could be nicer? The Whitstable Oyster Stout was delicious and the desserts were to die for. Couldn't have enjoyed it more. It was the perfect way to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and would definitely be a place to revisit. The seafood didn't end at the restaurant, we bought a great selection to take home from the lovely little fish market under the restaurant.
