Unmatched for its beautiful location, The Coy Carp near Uxbridge is enclosed by Pynesfield Lake and the River Pinn, lending wonderful views from the vintage pub and its al fresco beer garden. Offering classic British pub food, the Coy Carp values its rustic interior with oaken furnishings and a hearth-fire.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Coy Carp menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Coy Carp ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

Although drivable from Uxbridge, Denham Train Station is closer to the Coy Carp, at 8 minutes’ driving.

We all had Sunday lunch and pudding. We enjoyed the meal and the staff were very nice and helpful.

A pleasant enough experience, the food good, was served quickly, was hot and basically what you would be expected at Sunday lunch. The desert likewise. There were a few little instances that let the serving staff down one of which was 'forgetting to bring me me my second glass of wine' the other was 'greeting us at the door with a full mouth of food' Overall the staff were pleasant and polite, and I will eat at the Coy Carp again.

The food was very good. So was the service up until the waitresses friends arrived and then she seemed more interested in chatting to them than dealing with us.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly waitress and staff who are helpful and very accommodating. As always great food and good portion sizes. Never feels rushed to oder, eat or leave. Lovely setting by the river.

We were staying nearby, the Coy Carp was recommended, We were thrilled with the whole dining experience.Lovely warm atmosphere. The table we were given
was in an alcove overlooking the canal, couldn't have been better, privacy & a good view. Our waitress Jazmine very pleasant.
We ordered a roast platter for 2, so did our guests, it came promptly, very well presented with the fresh vegetables on the side. A very good dish indeed.

We went out for a family celebration lunch. Many of our group were regulars hence we chose this restaurant. Frankly from the very start it was a disaster. Firstly the table wasn't ready, secondly from ordering it took 90 minutes for the main course to arrive. Whilst that was unfortunate to say the least four of the roast meals were inedible - a poor experience indeed!
