Winner of an AA Rosette for its British gastro pub dishes, The Cadogan Arms offers heated outdoor dining and a cosy, contemporary interior. Ales from the sister microbrewery are served at the well-stocked bar.

The award-winning Cadogan menu mixes trusty British classics and refined signature main courses. Enjoy warming pork and apple pie with smooth mashed potatoes and cider gravy, or herd-crumbed halibut with fennel & potato rosti and pea veloute. Trusty British desserts include spiced pear rice pudding, or chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream.

Alongside locally-brewed beers, fine wines and freshly roasted coffee beans from nearby Butterworth & Son, The Cadogan near Bury St Edmunds offers indulgent grazing boards and artisan breakfasts.

Alongside a children’s menu served throughout the day, an adventure play area and free-roaming chickens (which can be fed with seed provided) keep younger diners occupied. The Cadogan Arms pub is an 8-minute drive from Bury St Edmunds.

Seven of us dined on a Sunday for the first time. All of us had the Lunch menu, which was well presented and delicious. The members of the party who lived locally have returned. Dishes of particular note were wood pigeon & black pudding with butternut squash starter, pork belly & loin, sea trout & linguine mains and pudding sharing platter. Perfection!

Love this place, we brought some friends from Essex there last Saturday and this Sunday and on both occasions we could not fault it. The Staff, the food and the pub itself are easily a 10/10????.My mrs is in a wheelchair and we had no trouble going from garden to toilets, and there is plenty of room at the tables for wheelchair or if you have young children in a buggy. And great facility's in the garden for children. The best roast dinner I've had at a pub in a very long time ! I would highly recommend the roast sirloin cooked to perfection.

Food excellent and service extremely pleasant. However, it took 20 mins between being seated with our drinks and being asked for what we wanted to order. Otherwise very good.

We've eaten here several times before but not for over a year. They seemed to have gone the way many pub restaurants have gone in that there is a lot of spicy food on the menu. The food was okay but the evening was marred somewhat by the bass -heavy soul music coming out of the loudspeaker above our table. The staff were very polite and helpful.

usual excellent Sunday lunch, only thing I would say is that white wine is served in a chill bucket when it's already very cold as it is. UK drinkers tend to over-chill their wine and I wonder if it's worth asking customers if they would like their bottle in the bucket?
