Winner of an AA Rosette for its British gastro pub dishes, The Cadogan Arms offers heated outdoor dining and a cosy, contemporary interior. Ales from the sister microbrewery are served at the well-stocked bar.

The award-winning Cadogan menu mixes trusty British classics and refined signature main courses. Enjoy warming pork and apple pie with smooth mashed potatoes and cider gravy, or herd-crumbed halibut with fennel & potato rosti and pea veloute. Trusty British desserts include spiced pear rice pudding, or chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream.

Alongside locally-brewed beers, fine wines and freshly roasted coffee beans from nearby Butterworth & Son, The Cadogan near Bury St Edmunds offers indulgent grazing boards and artisan breakfasts.

Alongside a children’s menu served throughout the day, an adventure play area and free-roaming chickens (which can be fed with seed provided) keep younger diners occupied. The Cadogan Arms pub is an 8-minute drive from Bury St Edmunds.

Lovely helpful friendly staff. Good burgers/gnocchi/fish pie. Cheddar Ploughmans could be more interesting

The food was exceptional and the restaurant itself was a beautiful setting. Although the waiting staff were lovely we were sat waiting for a very long time between courses. Our drinks were empty for quite a long time before the waiter asked if we would like more and unfortunately we weren't able to order a dessert as we were left unattended to after the meal. We had to go and pay at the bar after 30 min of waiting for a staff member to come to our table. It's a shame because I couldn't fault the food and setting. We don't mind waiting a long time for great food however we would have liked to have had drinks in between and maybe someone to bring our bill/ask if we wanted a dessert. It wasn't busy at all so we couldn't really see why we were ignored for most of the night. It's quite an expensive menu so I would have expected better service for my money.

7 of us celebrated a 95th birthday here. We all enjoyed our meals, and appreciated the birthday candle on a desert! The brewshed stew was particularly delicious. Staff were friendly, and it was good value for money. (1 criticism - the sofa near the bar isn't very comfortable).

Love the fact this welcoming pub is just on our doorstep. Menu always interesting using good quality ingredients. Wine selection great and friendly service. Great for kids too with a varied and great value menu for the kids especially as they take orders from 6pm. Also great play area outside, vidabke from the beer garden, so nice in the warmer months. #loveyourlocal
