Hi we had the Cadogan Arms recommended to us as we were in the area for the weekend and it didn't disappoint. The food was lovely and service was friendly and efficient. We would definitely go back if in the area.

Winner of an AA Rosette for its British gastro pub dishes, The Cadogan Arms offers heated outdoor dining and a cosy, contemporary interior. Ales from the sister microbrewery are served at the well-stocked bar.

The award-winning Cadogan menu mixes trusty British classics and refined signature main courses. Enjoy warming pork and apple pie with smooth mashed potatoes and cider gravy, or herd-crumbed halibut with fennel & potato rosti and pea veloute. Trusty British desserts include spiced pear rice pudding, or chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream.

Alongside locally-brewed beers, fine wines and freshly roasted coffee beans from nearby Butterworth & Son, The Cadogan near Bury St Edmunds offers indulgent grazing boards and artisan breakfasts.

Alongside a children’s menu served throughout the day, an adventure play area and free-roaming chickens (which can be fed with seed provided) keep younger diners occupied. The Cadogan Arms pub is an 8-minute drive from Bury St Edmunds.

Easy to book on line. Food is locally-sourced and mostly - if not totally - prepared in-house. Service good, we were well catered for as residents, even though there were big Xmas parties going on at the same time.

Enjoyable meal at this very pleasant pub. Surprisingly quiet for 2 days before Christmas. Nice table, very pleasant serving and bar staff, lots of smiles and made to feel welcome. Overall atmosphere very pleasant.
Food was good, 3 of us had the Wild Baor Scotch Egg which whilst quite nice was nothing special and tasted very much like any otehr scotch egg I have ever had, However the Haddock was very nice indded, well cooked and served with a lovely crayfish puree. Nice range of desserts and good wine list.

The starter was superb. However, the roast turkey meal was dried up and the side of vegetables were incredibly under cooked. When this was mentioned to the staff...... it was overlooked on border to being ignored. The gravy had a dried outer circle suggesting this had either been hanging around or reheated.

    Food very good
Main course choices worked out to suit us all. Staff checked oil used in kitchen due to allergy for one member of a group.
    Dessert sharing board was excellent
