Delivering traditional British pub flavours in an idyllic country setting, The Bumble Bee in Quedgeley is ideal all year round, with a cosy log fire for winter and beer garden for summer. The pub’s hearty heritage as a fresh water spring and cider orchard also accounts for the great cuisine.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Bumble Bee menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Bumble Bee ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

The Bumble Bee is a mere 11-minute drive from Gloucester.

Having booked a table to make things easier , we were seated then ignored for twenty minutes , while later arrivals were dealt with , having ordered we then waited 15 minutes for a flatbread starter , 15 minutes later we were advised the main meal was being plated 10 minutes later it appeared , not the best hunters chicken I've. Had but in reality didn't expect it to be , a simple sorry we're short staffed would have been nice , but having to ask a random drinks waitress if we could order isn't good business overall not impressed , advice stay away if your hungry now

We were a party of 5 and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was very good indeed and we weren't rushed. Admittedly it wasn't a particularly busy night. The atmosphere was pleasant and the surroundings very comfortable. The only minor issuecwe did have was that the coffee was not particularly nice. I believe you can't go wrong with Vintage Inns. You know what to expect.

It was wonderful country style Inn with friendly, helpful staff. The food was good and there was wide choice of drinks to suit every taste.

Really disappointing service. Slow & made you feel like it was your fault. We ordered a bottle of wine & they didn't have any wine glasses. They said they'd bring them to us when there were some. Unbelievable!!

Attractive premises, good service, food a little bland when compared with the description on the menu.

It would have been great if they had had our booking from bookatable, but they still give us our 20% off which was excellent.

Overall good but size of meal not worth value, small compared to cost

Overall experience was very poor. The venue and staff were unwelcoming. We were greeted with a board saying that roast dinners were limited. We had pre booked a table and told to order our meals at the bar when we were ready. I had to find a waiter as there were no menus on our table to order from. When our meals arrived I asked for a plain burger and received one with all the trimmings including mayonnaise which I am allergic to. The waiter promptly took in away and placed the same burger in a plain new roll. My wife and daughter had roast meals but also had to ask for stuffing and pigs in blankets which they had missed off their plates. The whole place had no atmosphere at all. As this was a birthday celebration for my wife we were most disappointed and will not be using or recommending 'The Bumble Bee' again.
