Delivering traditional British pub flavours in an idyllic country setting, The Bumble Bee in Quedgeley is ideal all year round, with a cosy log fire for winter and beer garden for summer. The pub’s hearty heritage as a fresh water spring and cider orchard also accounts for the great cuisine.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Bumble Bee menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Bumble Bee ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

The Bumble Bee is a mere 11-minute drive from Gloucester.

6 of us dined here on a Thursday lunchtime. We had mains and desert, all very good pub food except one had hunters chicken and the bacon was black around the edges but overall we were happy and the deserts were very nice. Service good and total bill had 25% off with special deal when booked...great! Shame that there are so many bad reviews because we've never had a bad meal. Will visit again.

My sister and I ate at the Bumble Bee on Tuesday 20th December. It was a belated Birthday treat. We had a delicious meal in lovely surroundings and the staff were great.

We had a disaster here in this occasion. Out of 5 meals. One meal wasn't ordered and never arrived. Two meals were inedible and sent back. One meal has brown veg on it. Fortunately the manager was a lovely man who resolved it all. We eat here every 6 weeks. This was the first time it's been so bad.

Lovely meal. Helpful and cheerful waitresses. Really enjoyed the ham hock in marmalade with spring onion mash.

Having booked a table to make things easier , we were seated then ignored for twenty minutes , while later arrivals were dealt with , having ordered we then waited 15 minutes for a flatbread starter , 15 minutes later we were advised the main meal was being plated 10 minutes later it appeared , not the best hunters chicken I've. Had but in reality didn't expect it to be , a simple sorry we're short staffed would have been nice , but having to ask a random drinks waitress if we could order isn't good business overall not impressed , advice stay away if your hungry now

We were a party of 5 and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was very good indeed and we weren't rushed. Admittedly it wasn't a particularly busy night. The atmosphere was pleasant and the surroundings very comfortable. The only minor issuecwe did have was that the coffee was not particularly nice. I believe you can't go wrong with Vintage Inns. You know what to expect.
