are second visit to the Brass Mill i am sorry to say not a good experience we ordered two lamp shanks and bubble and squeak. We waiting a rather long time and when it did arrive it was cold so we asked for it to be warmed up the waitress looked like she never understood what we just said. Eventually food taken back and come back out but by another waitress who said someone has taken a bite out of their lamb, no nobody has touched it as it was cold she took it back and come to the table and said sorry my mistake the meat has just fallen of the bone. Its such a shame really and the gentleman that run the table was very nice and said sorry. Its a shame this should happen.

very pleasant surprise.........meal was hot and brilliant value for money (sunday roast). Our past experience has been very variable here at the Brassmills.,but it is local and we walk so we can both have a glass of wine .
our waitress was very attentive and her service to us was excellent .
However some staff need to be a little more customer focused .two men (who have been there a few years )were bordering on being rude and impatient to some of the customers and the attitude of you didnt book so go away doesnt help!!

We were seated promptly and a drinks order taken, then when our drinks were delivered the food order was taken. Our meals were all nice, and served reasonably quickly. Overall, a favourable experience.

Enjoyed a casual lunch with friends,
Some people wanted a snack and some a meal and this worked well.
Used a discount voucher which is always an encouragement to use a venue.

This was our first trip to the Brassmill but it won't be our last. Great location with comfortable dining, a warm welcome, excellent service and a wide choice of dishes including specials to choose from. We hadn't used Bookatable before but it was so easy to use and we received 25% discount off the total bill so that was a great introduction. Thank you.

the service was fairly slow considering we were seated at 5pm so was busy when we left around 7.15pm but not busy when we were booked at 5pm but waited a long time. The portions were very small compared to other restaurants around this area, both my daugthers felt that they had childrens portions which I also felt, my friend who is 85 was able to eat all of hers she normally has a childs. The fish was very nice but very small, the trifle was more cream than trifle. I was going to book New years eve for the disco not wh
