We had a large group booked for afternoon tea, and the experience from start to finish was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, and the selection of food was really good. It was great that they replenished for the sandwiches for us, especially with many hungry mouths to feed. The restaurant was very stylish by design and was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

We booked the afternoon high tea for two people and it was rather disappointing. The sandwiches and sweets were just ok, with exception to the scones which were very delicious. Service was extremely bad, at times the place felt deserted, like we were the only ones there. At the end i asked to pay and to check if i had already prepaid with my card at the time of the booking, a female waitress said it was already paid, so we left; and a few minutes later, a male waiter started chasing us, saying we left without paying, which made us feel very embarrassed. Overall, the experience was way overpriced & could be much better.

Wonderful service and atmosphere and the sandwiches were delicious.

Afternoon tea was well worth the money, especially the sweet pieces were amazing. A drawback was that there were hardly any vegetarian options, and that we were initially served ham sandwiches even though we'd explicitly wished vegetarian snacks only. The waiter bent over backwards to fix this matter, which we appreciated.

They were very friendly and helpful. They offered us complimentary sandwiches, but the sweets were not those mentioned in the menu.

The raspberry on my raspberry jelly layer cake had shrivelled and had a spot of fungus on it! I had taken my mother in law out for this afternoon tea treat and felt so embarrassed to mention it in front of her so I just left the cake to the side. This made me question the freshness of the other cakes, which I didn't eat in the end. Tea also wouldn't brew to a good flavour.
The other disappointing this was that they had no way of taking any of the unfinished cakes and sandwiches away. I've been to a lot of afternoon tea places, including another branch of the Hilton, and they always provide a small box and bag. After I have paid for it and should be able to take it away if I wanted to.

It was okay. Could have been more exciting with more varied choices. Waiter was nice though and friendly in conversation.

Food was fine but had to share cakes as not given one of each each. Service was poor. They were not expecting us.
