Defined by its relaxed, informal setting, The Brasserie at The Cumberland serves a menu of European classics with a distinctly British twist. Effortlessly chic, the dazzling back-lit bar is the focal point of the main dining room.

Crafted with award-winning expertise, the Brasserie menu foregrounds classic flavours with exciting modern flourishes. Sophisticated options include pan-fried haddock fillet on a poached potato with a cockle, leek and parsley casserole, and a succulent shallow-fried fillet of chicken Holstein topped with fried organic hen’s egg and served with anchovies, capers, shallots, parsley and nut brown butter. Delightfully indulgent options extend through to the dessert menu at The Brasserie restaurant in London, featuring a chocolate and hazelnut pudding with hazelnut ice cream and a warm chocolate sauce.

Brasserie afternoon tea combines delicate sandwiches, scones and cakes with exquisite Higgins Tea, while a sumptuous Sunday carvery menu offers a 3-course weekend treat. For a sophisticated drinks setting, look no further than The Brasserie’s Momentus Bar, a sultry yet elegant bar space lit by atmospheric purple lighting.

Within the luxury of The Cumberland Hotel, family-friendly dining is offered at The Brasserie in Mayfair. Marble Arch Tube Station sits a 2-minute walk away.

Food was really nice. Service was very slow though. Didn't take my name or what time our booking was for when we arrived and said that we had a booking. Was given one menu then they changed it to another even though had same information on. Had to wait quite a while for our food and had to chase for an extra plate of sandwiches and chase for a refil for our pots of tea

The service was quick, and the actual food and drink were nicely presented. the one drawback was that the service location was next to the bar, which did not lend itself to the reserved atmosphere one would expect for high tea.

We had afternoon tea here and it was fantastic. The staff where great, and the food was excellent, and plentiful. I would highly recommend The Cumberland for afternoon tea.

The staff were friendly and attentive. The bar man was excellent, made our cocktails perfectly and made a fab cappuccino! ?? The food was good. Triple cooked chips were not crispy on the outside, that was the only negative, if I had to find one.

Excellent time, staff attentive, food was lovely. We really enjoyed it and would go again.

Very pleasant place, the interior was nice and modern. Food was good although cakes could have been a little more luxurious.

No atmosphere, the dinning experience was very poor. Within the 'Brasserie' is a big screen TV televising sport, whilst immediately outside the 'Brasserie' is a Beer Garden. Within the brassirie once we were served our food, we did not see the waiting staff again. Had to request tea. If you want afternoon tea, this is certainly not the place to go. I would never go back.
