A Grade II-listed setting dating back to 1671, The Brasserie at Cedar Court offers high-end British dishes. Stunning original features are present throughout the hotel, and an al fresco patio is opened during summer.

Changing on a monthly basis in order to reflect the season’s best available produce, the Cedar Court menu compiles creative flavour combinations and artful presentation. Uncomplicated yet refined flavour combinations change with the seasons at the Cedar Court Brasserie, with dishes like celeriac, mushroom and almond cannelloni, or pan-seared venison with asparagus and blueberry jus.

An innovative ‘lemon 3 ways’ dessert includes posset, drizzle cake and pavlova, while modern twists on classics include cherry bakewell tart with kirsch sorbet and cherry coulis. In the plush lounge at Cedar Court in Harrogate, enjoy classic afternoon teas and an array of miniature cakes and scones.

Set in the heart of the upmarket town, The Cedar Court Brasserie is a 7-minute walk from Harrogate Rail Station.

We both had the fillet steak which was delicious and cooked to perfection. My thick cut chips were also lovely. As we didn't have a starter we had a little wait for our food but only to be expected. Deserts fab too, again short wait for the chocolate fondant but gave a nice gal in between courses. Restaurant is tastefully decorated. The only thing I wasn't too keen on was it's location in the's kind of in the foyer and not totally segregated off. It's right next to the main entrance so you had a fairly constant flow of guests in and out plus the gents toilets and lift were in easy view of our table. That said it's somewhere I would eat at again.
