The Brackenbury is led by the former General Manager of the iconic River Café. With equally prestigious backgrounds, the kitchen team create a menu of French and Italian dishes using fine British produce.

The Brackenbury menu is led by bold Mediterranean flavours. Try risotto with braised pheasant, marsala and dried porcini, linguini with spiced mussel and tomato ragu, or roast partridge with braised savoy cabbage and celeriac purée. Desserts are just as rich, with the likes of Yorkshire ginger pudding with butterscotch sauce, and the ominously titled chocolate nemesis on offer.

Laid-back yet chic, comfy banquettes and simple décor give The Brackenbury Hammersmith a warm and welcoming feel. Outdoor seating offers al fresco dining on warmer days, with Meditteranean-style street-side dining.

A neighbourhood favourite, The Brackenbury London sits in a quiet pocket of West London. Hammersmith, Ravenscourt Park, and Goldhawk Road tube stations are all within a 10-minute walk.

Friendly service, excellent food and a table outside in a quiet street.

A second delightful experience within a week at this lovely restaurant. Cuttlefish, squid starters quite splendid and mains between us from fish to guinea fowl to lamb and sweetbread all delicious. Paris Brest dessert a first for us and one to be eaten a second time. Ambience relaxed and with its open front cool and positively continental in this hotcweaher. Altogether most enjoyable!

An excellent restaurant - interesting and well presented dining with charming service and surroundings. This is my local but, even if it wasn't, the Brackenbury is well worth a detour.

This is my favourite London restaurant for quiet, civilised dining with superb food. I can hear myself and others talk, and I can relax. As a pescaterian (fish and vegetables) there is always a good choice of excellent dishes, and the desserts are great. The wine list is well-chosen and well-priced for all budgets. The prosecco could be tastier, however.

Very good evening. Great starter (clams with peas) followed by hake. Beautifully cooked and presented. Nice atmosphere of what seemed to be predominantly locals.

Really superb food chosen with great attention to detail. It's a lovely location and has the feel of a much appreciated local restaurant.

An absolute gem of a restaurant, in a quiet, peaceful location. Had a friendly neighbourhood vibe, yet the food quality was universally excellent. A very good wine list at extremely reasonable prices.
