From classic British recipes to rich cuts of game and wholesome vegetarian options, The Boathouse menu offers an expertly presented selection. Menu favourites include a sharing beef wellington, succulent goose with prune and Armangac stuffing, or butternut squash and hazelnut gnocchi. A popular fish board offers fillets from the finest catches.
From the bar, The Boathouse Ely is proud to showcase an impressive stock of local beers, and source wines from tried and trusted growers from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. A creative dessert menu includes the much-loved raspberry and Pimms crème brulee.
A bright dining room features wood panelling, cosy arches and bold strokes of colour. Ely Rail Station is 5 minutes’ walk away.

Having recently been diagnosed as having coeliacs, i was very pleased to find a place to eat where i wasn't treated as a freak or a nuisence. I was given my own gluten free menu so I didn't have to keep asking whether things were suitable. I was given advice on where I could purchase certain food. All in all a very pleasent experience.I shall certainly be eating there again and hopefully the Sticky toffee pudding will be on the menu again!!

We dined on a Friday evening to celebrate my partner's birthday. The aperetif was unusual and tasty and there was a variety of choices for starters and main dishes. The service was discrete but friendly. Altogether a pleasant evening in relaxing surroundings, which is why the restaurant is one of our favourites.

Sunday lunchtime. Neither of us eat meat or fish. The soup was delicious, and there were 2 choices of a main meal. The pasta dish was excellent. We have found the perfect place to take family and friends for Sunday lunch.
