Nice experience. The staff were pleasant. Seemed they could have done with a few more staff to help out. The layout is nice with the glass partitions. Only small issue is the vintage inns massive logo. Food was spot on. Drinks were typical of a rural pub. Recommend anyone to drop in

Have been on numerous occasions for meals in the past , but sadly this time ( which was my birthday) we were very dissappointed with the food . We had Sunday lunch with lamb and it was very busy but the portion was small ( especially meat) and not the best !! Sadly . Will come again but hope it will be better than this time . Service was good though , couldn't fault that .

The service was good. However the meals (halibut from the specials and lamb) were below acceptable. The vegetables with the halibut were overlooked and the halibut was dry. The lamb was very dry and not enjoyable. The whole meals seemed to have been sitting under a heat lamp - they did not look freshly served and lacked quality.

Additionally the booking email said 20% off. We did not receive this.

For the price my expectations were significantly higher than what was received.

Enjoyed the Sunday roast, particularly the variety of well cooked vegetables. Lovely staff too.

Arrived and was told the pram wouldnt fit where we were seated so had to put the pram in the car and wake son up! Sat in a cramped corner for 4 of us !Nice food but a huge wait between starter and main was expensive. Wouldnt go again soon

Childs dinner came out 10minutes before any starters
Had to remind waitress after 10 minutes of ordering about our drinks
    Food was great

Lovely food, very busy due to the hot sunny day. We were waiting a while for our food but when it came it was lovely, we had Sunday roast platter, the dessert I had, Passion Fruit Meringue tartlet was divine!
Could have done with a couple more waiting on staff who were being kept very busy!
