4 ordered roast dinner. We had to wait for quite a while as it was busy but the dinner was delicious. We love our veg and could have done with a bit more but we couldn't fault the quality and it was very hot and tasty. Apple and cherry crumble with custard was to die for.

Three of us ate off the lunch menu my fish and chips were lovely, my friend enjoyed her ham and eggs but hubby had the 4oz sirloin which was awful couldn't cut through the gristle and the bit of meat left was not a nice taste or texture. He has had steak with you before, 'flat iron steak' we think and that was fine but he was very disappointed in the sirloin, we did feel the chef would have been able to see the steak wasn't good before cooking it so not too happy. Have not been disappointed before, love the Boathouse normally.

The quality and taste of the food that we ordered was excellent. I would definitely have the seared Sea Bass again. The Salmon Supreme was also excellent. Sweets were also very good and staff helpful.
