A beautiful and traditional Young’s pub in Fetcham, The Bell serves up a modern British menu from award-winning chef, Paul Mulvenna-Pegrum. A glorious gravel al fresco dining area sits proudly in front of The Bell’s towering façade.

Seasonal, hearty dishes grace the Bell menu. Favourites include the stilton and mushroom bake with oat crumble and apricot, and a succulent roasted lamb rump on champ potatoes, with green beans, chantenay carrots and a redcurrant jus. A special ‘classics’ section pays homage to traditional British pub food with Young’s beer battered fresh haddock and chips and Cumberland sausages with bubble and squeak in a red wine gravy.

Moreish bar grazing options, like piri piri chicken wings with blue cheese dip, join award-winning Young’s ales and fine wines from around the world. Kids are welcomed with a little diner’s menu, while events range from quiz nights to ‘lobster and jazz’ parties.

The Bell, just south of Leatherhead, is a 5-minute drive from Norbury Park.

Really relaxed atmosphere. Nothing seemed too much to ask. Definitely would recommend

Brilliant service. The toast on the toasted sandwich was a bit crispy and the roasted veg with fish cake were a bit greasy but this is being nightly when overall the food was good - fish cake was excellent if a bit pricey

Great roast, only criticism would be the food not that hot.

Ordered the special (pork fillet).....5 minutes later told it was sold out.
Then ordered lamb off the main menu.....5 minutes later told sold out
Then ordered a steak.....5 minutes later told it was sold out
Basically no meat on the menu at all unless it was minced (burger), or breadcrumbed and fried (Chicken Kiev).
OK so it was bank holiday Monday but only 7:15pm.
Ended up with cod (very small) and chips (very good).

Staff lovely very friendly and helpful. Starter of scallops ridiculously small - 3 tiny scallops for £9 and a little bit of salad. Chicken Kiev over- cooked and dry. Other meals all good. Would recommend and return ourselves but avoid the scallops!

A very tasty dinner on a Friday night, plus live music in the pub afterwards. The dining room is off to the side - we could still hear the live music from the main part of the pub but that was a bonus!
