A restored village pub with a beer garden for sun-drenched lunches during the warmer months, The Bell – Belbroughton serves hearty British pub fare. Tartan cushions, wooden beams & cosy leather banquettes give the pub a homely, rustic feel.

Sourcing ingredients from trusted local suppliers, The Bell menu features wholesome recipes based around the garden, land and sea. Sample hand-pressed burgers, beef & ale pie with cardamom carrots, or sea bass with potato gnocchi, while old-school puddings include warming crumbles, custard-lathered sponges and decadent brownies. Not forgetting younger diners, a kids’ menu includes miniature versions of British classics.

A partnership with the celebrated Rothschild wine merchants means The Bell – Belbroughton cellar is stocked full with an eclectic list of world wines, while indulgent wine flights allow guests to sample a variety of bins. Seasonal beers and barrel-kept ales also feature, as well as thirst-quenching cocktails and rich coffees.

The Bell in Stourbridge is a 7-minute drive from Hagley Rail Station.

We had fixed price lunch - food was quite good but would have greatly benefitted with smaller portions but with a bit of salad on the side. Too many carbs.

Good service, food all good with the exception of spit chicken and fries both of which very dried out.

The only thing I didn't like was the position of the table as I had my back to an emergency exit that staff were in and out of all night and every time I had a cold blast of air down my back.

A really enjoyable evening. Food was good and plenty of choice all around from starters to dessert. Prices competitive and fair. Service was very good pleasant and non intrusive. Very good all around.

The restaurant is a great venue but service and food wasn't really worth the cost. We went for my mothers 74th birthday and it took forever to take a drinks order from our table. Drinks and then the food took ages to arrive. Food was ok, chicken was dry. It was such slow service at one point my mother almost fell asleep.

We were a party of seven family members to celebrate the birthday of one of our number. We were welcomed and shown to a table in a suitable part of the restaurant and cared for by attentive staff. Some of the food was very disappointing, i.e., some was cold and some had been badly spoiled by reheating; but the waitresses were very understanding, They arranged for some dishes to be replaced and for a generous reduction in our overall bill. Well done waitresses!

Good reception by friendly staff. Diverse selection of interesting dishes, although service was a little slow in the busy restaurant. Good quality food, served hot and together, by attentive staff. Generally provided good value for money. Unfortunately, there was a bad smell in the car park to the rear of the restaurant!
