Really enjoyed ourselves and loved the new restaurant and bar layout. All four of us had the steak cooked on hot stones and they were delicious.
Very attentive staff and overall a good time was had by all.

This was our first visit to Cooden Beach hotel. We are new to the area.
Lovely table by the window, food excellent and represents good value for money.
I was a little concerned about car parking availability, and therefore came by train. As it turned out, parking was freely available. Would it not be prudent to install some sort of barrier to your car park, to ensure the available parking is only used by users of the Cooden Beach hotel? This sort of thing was widely used at the Marriott hotel group, and it caused no problem! Either a disc or a code to open the barrier upon exit would ensure no problem for your guests. I am sure that your car park gets taken up by the public in the summer months, and this is worrying!
    Otherwise, a truly delightful experience.

Very good food, portion sizes were great. Served quickly and reasonably priced as well.

Another lovely evening at Cooden Beach. Just the right balance; not overly pretentious, but still a cut above your 'standard' restaurant meal, plus good food and attentive staff.

We met friends at the restaurant and enjoyed a very relaxing afternoon. The meal was good except that both the men of our party requested alterations to the meal they ordered - a brioche bun has no place next to a burger ! why not use the traditional bap? and a plate is nicer to eat from than a chopping board. The cottage pie also needed to be decanted to a plate at the table as it was almost impossible to eat when so hot with no room to add vegetables. Cutlery was missing but the very nice waitress sorted this out quickly.
The price was reasonable and we will certainly come again. The restaurant will benefit from 'settling in' and maybe some extra artwork and plants.

Car parking is a complete pain!! we had to assist an elderly lady out of her space as she nearly lost her whole front wing due to a transit van being parked at a ridiculous angle. Also a potential space was taken by an inconsiderate 4x4 driver who took up 2 spaces.

We shared afternoon tea. We were greeted well by restaurant staff but have to say reception staff were not helpful. The food was excellent along with great surrounding and good service from staff on duty. Thank youfor making our afternoon so special.

We've discovered that we are lucky enough to have a wonderful restaurant locally. We enjoyed fresh and beautifully cooked cuisine on our visit. With Andre and Harriet making us very welcome and provided such attentive service, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal with visiting family. Thank you to all at The Cooden Beach for a lovely evening, we shall return!

Bad incompetent service walked out after main meal due to half hour wait between meals. 50 Anniversary ruined. Had to find desert menu but no staff.
