Pure dining splendour is showcased with effortless chic at The Balcon. Combining traditional elegance with contemporary flair, this blend of London and Parisian grand brasserie boasts a champagne balcony and restaurant.

Fabulous blends of styles complement one another beautifully at The Balcon London. Dual spiral staircases make up the striking champagne balcony, which offers a select range of bottles that include Dom Perignon. Sweeping arches and crisp whites are set off by dark stained wood and leather furnishings.

The Balcon menu is a diverse blend of the finest traditional dishes given premium contemporary additions.

Also featuring an accomplished wine list and selection of spirits, The Balcon in St James's is just a 5-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus Tube Station.

Service was excellent, from when I walked in the door to when I left.

Excellent Champagne brunch, limited though good food in this £52 per head offer, and we managed to down several glasses in the 90 minute slot. Slight downside were the staff who seemed to find us invisible and also made mistakes on the bill. But overall, a delightful way to spend Sunday lunchtime, in such opulent surroundings.

Lovely food, delightful staff and a thoroughly pleasurable experience. Only negative it was a very warm evening and the restaurant was uncomfortably stuffy for a large high ceilinged room.

Excellent location and beautiful room. Service was marvelous and very attentive. We had a 3 course special and it was all delicious with good choices available for all of us.

Food dreadful -I had beef tartare starter with so much truffle oil over it - disgusting - my friend had a goats cheese starter equally nor well made - thick uncooked pastry. The main of pasta pappardelle was tasteless as needed some kick . My friend had schnitzel that was oily and inedible. The deserts were nice - raspberry and chocolate mousse - but not enough to save a terrible food experience- chefs need to be changed or upskilled

Grande déception au niveau du repas. Plats fades. Sans goût. Ne justifie pas ce prix de repas.

As soon as you walk in you are given a warm welcome. We chose to go to the bar first and the staff immediately offered to help with explaining and choosing drinks. The restaurant itself has a lovely contemporary feel and again the staff are helpful and friendly and you are not rushed. The presentation of the food was very good and we all enjoyed. I had quail to start which was beautifully cooked, then mackerel for the main which melted in your mouth and finished with baked Alaska that I would have again. I have already recommended the restaurant to a friend and would definitely go back. Overall a great dining experience.
