Overpriced !! It was awful! The food was of extremely poor quality and a very odd selection. We had a waiter who disappeared half way through so we were left to wander through to the lounge to request more drinks. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your hard earned money.

excellent meal well presented staff attentive and smart however once again a restraunt that adds gratuity charges to the bill without notice we prefer to make our own mind up and respond accordingly
felt the cost of a bottle of water a bit expensive so beware before you commit yourself

The food was luke warm and having had this returned to the kitchen requesting a completely new meal, the second meal was not much better. The service was poor inasmuch as there wss not a salt and pepper pot on the table and I had to get a set from another table, when second meal was brought out my friend was not given a fork to eat her meal with and the glass of wine I ordered at start of the evening did not arrive with my meal...I had to remind them. When I ordered a decaff Americano a pot of filter coffee arrived. I would highly recommend all to avoid this eatery. The manager of the dining room had the audacity to try to blame us for the food being luke warm. This was cool on arrival as was the plate.

I booked a birthday lunch for my husband. The staff were pleasant & attentive. The food was good. However, the music playing in the Eaterie was unbearable - not loud but insistent. It sounded like someone banging a gong repeatedly. It went on and on. My husband told the waitress, who said she was used to it and didn't notice it. My husband told her we couldn't stand it and would, reluctantly, prefer to leave. She suggested we might eat in the lounge and we agreed. We sat at coffee tables on low, squashy chairs which was not ideal for a two course lunch. However, the service was very good and the food enjoyable.
If I had been serving customers who complained about the music, I would have turned it off.

Excellent variety, service and value for money. Comfy sofa in front of real log fire. Afternoon tea highly recommended

My wife and I had Sunday lunch on Nov 20. The food (we both had roast beef and Yorkshire pudding) was excellent and was served promptly. The staff, as ever, were polite and courteous without being over bearing.
