Excellent service by friendly staff. Food chosen was delicious. A tad pricey when one item from the A la Carte seemed to cancel out the two course deals.

The staff are friendly and polite but not well trained. Mostly young from other countries and not experienced. Not able to talk about the menu . Had not heard of famous liqeurs and were not available. Steak was overcooked. Fish was cold. Overpriced. Did not enjoy dinner. Three of us had same opinion.

delightful afternoon tea in charming surroundings

The food and drink was very good, however we were put on our own in the restaurant as the lounge was too busy - this made the experience far less appealing especially as it was a birthday treat. It had also not been mentioned when I phoned to confirm on Friday. In summary, food good but let down by the surrounding. I would not recommend tea in the restaurant.

Great food, good wine, attentive service - we had a great time

Great tasting food and well presented. Only criticism would be a little stingy on the portion size for the sea bass

Good quality food in a cosy ambiance. Would prefer not to see a service charge added at the bottom of the bill as we would have tipped at least 10% anyway.

First of all! We enjoyed ourselves. That's what we came to the Angels for. Deluxe afternoon tea birthday present by my brother. Top location, great sightseeing and shopping in the afternoon, reservation at 16:30.
Led to a freed table in the empty restaurant, requested a space in the lounge, were told that there was no space in the lounge because " a lot of afternoon teas this afternoon", insisted politely, that we had a reservation in the lounge and that that was the claim on the gift card, we would not have made the visit that day if we knew it would not be the full experience.
After a short wait, we got a place by the beautiful fireplace, unpleasant curtness from the service lady thereafter. Luckily she got replaced around 17 o'clock.
My wife's green tea was over cooked and very bitter but we didn't complain and reorder or ask for some water that was obviously missing, water glasses being left empty. At that time we just didn't feel welcome enough to bother the service again and just wanted to enjoy the place and general atmosphere without any more hustle.
Two additional glasses of sparkling wine, and a fabulous taste of exquisite pastry later, we left happyy and content. The experience is a mitigated one though, above mentioned service experience at cause.

    Customer service is really good.
Easy to book. Lovely looking place. Sadly they do not really cater very well for vegiterians. The service took quite a while too. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the food. Thanks.
