Food a little on the pricey side but very tasty, good portions and good service. We were a party of 14 and had a great afternoon

The Albany on Great Portland Street is a city pub known for its fresh, seasonal food, sublime beers and great atmosphere. On the edge of Regents Park, it is a traditional London pub with wooden flooring, a well-stocked bar, and regular live music.

Adding a contemporary flourish to pub favourites, The Albany menu is diverse and seasonal. Start with a hearty handmade sausage roll or Scotch egg with HP sauce, or the mouth-watering braised brisket cubes with buffalo sauce. Mains range from classic beef burgers or fish and chips to the more elaborate pan-fried sea bass with dauphinoise, British asparagus and lemon butter sauce. Home-cooked Sunday roasts are also a firm favourite.

Decadent desserts at The Albany pub include Lemon and wild blueberry ricotta cheesecake with British strawberry compote, and sticky toffee pudding with vanilla bean ice cream. At the bar, craft beers from around the world are joined by an impressive array of wines and spirits.

Just seconds from Great Portland Street Tube Station, The Albany London hosts regular events and live music. Oxford Street is a 10-minute walk away.

Excellent beers, food portions on the small side but food and service good and value fair.

The small plates menu was absolutely amazing. We ordered 3 plates and a side of chips and, from now on my favourite thing in the whole wide world, the mac and cheese bites. They were delicious. Service was quick, and they were happy to have my dog there. The only thing they could use is 'reserved' signs for the tables - it was now quite an awkward situation trying to explain to the people sitting there that it was ours....

Great buzzy, lively atmosphere, background music but not too loud, lovely food- pub grub + more.
Bit of a battle to get to the bar to place order but once placed we didn't have to wait long for our food.
